This is SUCH a POWERFUL song. It doesn't have to be perfect when we're talking God. He knows the words we can't say, the cries we can't bring up, the anguish we can't even understand. But He still wants us to break down before Him. This song makes me fall harder in love with God.

There was a time I questioned myself like, “Why Do I always come to God anytime I’m depressed or scared? Why can’t my heart come to him with joy and thanksgiving?” And I’ve always felt guilty about it. I’ve played this song many times during my emotional state and as I’m typing this, A scripture (that I believe God has given me) pop up in my mind, “Ecclesiastes 3, which proves there’s literally a time for everything in all of our lives, we doubt God and another time we give God praise.” I used to be guilty but now I understand that God understands everything and knows all about me. 👍

Not only does this ideology wear us down, but it makes unbelievers feel that they can’t relate to us, and in turn, can’t relate to God. The Lord doesn’t promise that everything will be easy, but he promises to be there with us through it all. Don’t let Satin get in your head and fill it with lies of perfection, they’ll just get you down. Church is a place for broken people to be healed by God.

This song reflects the heart David (the psalmist). Yes it is true in the name of faith we trained in church not to honest. Yet David (the psalmist) had great faith and honest at the same time. David was the one who prayed and believed even when there was no hope because of his sin with uriah's wife. That God could cause his child to live anyways if he, David cried out to him in prayer . Because He believed in God's tender love so much that it could cover even this sin. And His love can why didn't save that way we don't know. But he did say I will see him again (meaning heaven). (He can't come to me but I will go to him)

2017 brought a divorce to marriage I had prayed for for years, loss of my dog, my home to a hurricane, most heartbreaking my most precious little sister leaving our family for heaven............if not for Him. Standing in the gym I spoke out loud I am in the wilderness.......a few minutes later the Holy Spirit spoke "you act as thou the wilderness is a bad thing, it is where I am bringing you closer to me" I was speechless. Seeing this video is seeing my valley hearing the song reminds me of what was spoken to me.........Amazing Amazing Father God we serve. Thank you for putting my life in words.

The past few months have been evidence of my broken prayers...i am soooo relieved we serve a God that lets us come to him JUST. AS. WE. ARE. Why am I afraid of being real?...you want all I have Lord with no holding back...my dad has cancer, and I'm scared he isn't gonna make it, my ex and I broke up(I broke up w him) and I'm heartbroken and my job is stressing me out. My future is scary and confusing and I've just got so much going on so...
Instead of dedicating this song to someone else I dedicate this song to ME. The WARRIOR, the FIGHTER, the BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER of the MOST HIGH GOD. And I say I come w my broken prayers, mascara running down my face etc. But y'all pray for me bc I'm not ok and he isn't afraid of all the things I feel.

1: However bad this season of life is it's just a season it's not forever and you WILL get through this.
