I'm a 62 year old Christian & the lyrics of this song has a profound message. I love how these young talents 'For Christ' take commonly profound lyrics and turn it into a profoundly unique song -- So gifted are these musicians. I love this song! 20 years ago I never would've allowed myself to sing music with these kinds of lyrics, but now that I've been through the wringer, this song just resonates in the core of my spirit. To all those who are even remotely concerned about the way she sings/dances and whether it's distracting to you, just look for a version of this song that is lyrics-only like I did. I testify to this as a former pornography addict, that there is only so much a woman can do to not distract a man, and Riley has made a reasonable effort in this regard without quenching what I perceive to be the Holy Spirit moving upon her to show how God wants us to rejoice before Him in our own praise and worship. Did anyone else not notice that she's wearing something between a trench coat and a parka? At some point we have to take ownership of our eyes. Riley, God bless you, sister, and keep worshiping the King.
Different type of music appeal to different ppl just because it's not what ur use too doesn't mean it isnt anointed..she is covers no booty shaking and it's got rhythm but most important it's got Word...." gives me strength when I need it" ..ppl need to break out of their bubble it's that mentally that keeps us stuck in religion n not in a Godly lifestyle. I did kind of feel this music video to be a bit off from her usual tones, but I wasn’t gonna say anything. Though I am glad you brought this up cuz sometimes we do tend to judge others on how they choose to worship God in song and dance. She is not dancing inappropriately nor are her lyrics bad at all. So I apologize to her for thinking this way. And you are right, David did dance for the Lord and we shouldn’t put down others for the way they choose to express their love and praise for Him. You can easily dance for fun without being sexy. We are no longer of the flesh and shouldn't bring ourselves down to the world's standards of dancing, etc. She has amazing talent, but you don't have to act sexy, especially when you are trying to make God pleased--not people.
I agree, however, maybe it wasn't all her fault. What if the producers told her to do that or something? And what do you expect from a 18 year old? Yeah, maybe if she was like 39 it would be unacceptable, but she is really young. I'm not saying that some of the movements were wrong, I'm just saying be reasonable.
Every time I here this song I think about the comments about her body movement and makes it difficult for me to enjoy it, I know that this song has changed a life or helped someone in their life.

Love this song! The words remind us that even in the valleys there is hope that our God will work all things for good for those who love him and are called according to his purpose. You just never know what a person is walking through by looking simply from the outside. Planting small seeds among the unchurched as Christians is what we are called to do-not throw stones at each other and those that don’t act, look, and believe as we do. God simply wants us to Love all people, be a light, and replace judgement with encouragement.
