@@theluckytempest It helps that I'm a huge cyberpunk fan, but BB Chronophantasm was what got me to actually sit down and learn fighting games. The rage will die down, then people will enjoy what they have for sure
Daisuke really watched edgerunners, edged the whole way to his sales team and gave them an explanation one handed as to why they should contact cd projekt red. I respect the energy tbh
Yanno what’s crazy, I am a VERY casual fighting game player like I play vs cpu and through stories and still have fun button mashing not learning any combos, I know inputs but that’s about it and yet guilty gear strive and Gran Blue are some of my favorite games of all time and yet I only barely am in the double digits of playtime. And also I am a HUGE Lucy/edgerunners fan so to those who shit on Lucy because they don’t want her L ig? There may be more in the future or in the next game so just like with smash brothers you just gotta be patient
Yeah Arcsys has made it clear they are supporting this game for awhile so anything is possible! And I know more cyber punk/edgerunner fans irl than I dp fighting game fans. And the Lucy announcement got them considering the game so its def a W! Thanks for watching :3

I feel part of the reason for the negative reaction might be that seeing the first gg guest character is not from bb, kinda puts in to perspective how the bb series is pretty much over.

Especially when it came to legacy guilty gear players that I know don't play strive anymore. And say stuff like strive baby game and they are ruining the franchise. Let me have my fun in strive and share it with others instead of bashing on the game for being a popular GG game.
Akuma being in XMen Children of the Atom lead to X-Men Vs Street fighter and Marvel vs Capcom. I doubt Lucy is going to lead to a Guilty Gear vs Cyberpunk. But I've been greatly wrong before. Still hoping for GGXBB.
Imagine if everytime he did a ball it had a set percent chance to do different balls and a low chance to robo KY. Then we'd have 2 "item toss" characters and one of them just plays billiards with a character lots of people want! So silly!
And that's totally valid! There isn't anything wrong with feeling disappointed it's just about how that feeling is handled. I hope you enjoy S4 and maybe we will get some good news for BB soon
I don't want Ragna in Strive because they'd have to gut his moveset to fit the game mechanics. I want Ragna and everything that made him cool, not a half-baked version of him.
My issue with the character is that Lucy is a property of CDPR, and thus has to follow their policies. Which means I can't buy her separately or Season Pass 4 in general because CDPR doesn't allow purchases of their products in my region. Good guest character ig.

Russia. A number of companies don't allow to purchase their games through steam for Russian accounts. Apparently in this case not even gifting the Pass is possible (which usually works for this kind of situations), though I only heard about it and didn't try myself yet. Steam page just doesn't have a purchase option.
@@theluckytempest The issue is the account so VPN can't help here. If someone bought the game and three seasons - to play Lucy they'll have to get a whole new account and buy the game again (and if they want to have the full deal of characters they have to buy first three seasons again of course~)
I just want to know what was going through Daisukes mind when he was trying to pick a guest character, and arrived at Lucy first Even if he just said no to Ragna (for whatever reason), at what point to go to Lucy? It just feels too specific to be a mere accident
i think he recent;y watched the anime. plus i never wanted ragna. there are waay more interesting characters in blazblue i dont need another sol badguy
