This game was insane. The final score remained a Scorigami until that wild Cowboys vs Falcons game last year. I was hoping they'd release the highlights to this game at some point. Lol Another legendary Browns vs Chiefs game was their matchup in 2009 when Jerome Harrison put up 286 yards and 3 TDs
@arizonawrestlinginterviews1040 yep! As a Browns fan, the AFC Divisional game was tough, but at that point I was just happy we beat the Steelers, so everything else was house money lol. But that season-opener next season definitely stung. That was suppose to be our revenge game. It was still a great game though.
Andre Davis,Dennis Northcutt,Quincy Morgan,Kevin Johnson were a solid receiving core for the Browns,I’ll never forget how they torched the Steelers in the playoffs
Dennis Northcutt might be one of the most underrated players in NFL history. The guy was a constant playmaker, despite how bad the team around him was and how many stank ass QBs the Browns rotated under center to throw him the ball. If he'd have been in New York or Dallas he probably would've been a household name.
I agree and the Browns should’ve never broke this core up, let alone part of the team after the 2002 season. Butch Davis the GM did not help Butch Davis the coach. Once he had a lot of control, the team became bad, fast after a promising first two years under him.
@@Bill_Woo Summerall would have done the US Open on CBS…in 1992. He did that event for 20 years only for CBS before moving to Fox in 1994. Summerall in 2002 was doing low level NFL games with Moose Johnston on Fox.
@@rjpsuh06 Ah, yes, good work. Yes, him and Madden on Fox beginning 1994 so there. As portrayed by Frank Caliendo :) :) I don't think "low level" is an accurate term. People always blame Rudd but Gardocki's dumb penalty helped a lot too. The Chiefs may not have got to the 35-yard line to start that drive. Those yards helped a lot.
If you haven’t uploaded it yet. How about the famous bottle gate game can Jaguars where the game was ended cause everyone kept chucking bottles at the refs.
That would be a good one to see, but I don't think it'll happen this year. Games that are uploaded during the season involve teams that are about to play in the upcoming week, and the browns and jaguars don't play each other this year.

It's amazing how many things on that final drive had to go the Chiefs way. The Gardocki penalty, the QB making a desperation toss to an offensive lineman, the helmet toss... A perfect storn.
It looked like Trent Green succeeded on that 2 point conversion. If they had called it that way, the Browns would've just tied the game with their field goal and the Chiefs would've been content with going to overtime.
Linebacker Dwayne Rudd thought the game was over when he tackled quarterback Trent Green. Little did he know, OL John Tait caught the pass and ran out of bounds when he was celebrating and removed his helmet. However, Rudd alone wasn't responsible for the loss, the whole Browns team was.
Probably the only component missing in this game would have been in commentary Kevin Harlan with Randy Cross perhaps Even tho Morten Andersen kicked the winning field goal Willie Roafs catch to run the ball to the sideline was also crutial to improve the positioning
I am a Browns fan and If I was old enough to watch this game back in 2002, I would have been super pissed. We deserved to lose this game because of preventable boneheaded penalties.
That game was legendary. Hats off to John Tait and the two O-Lineman who gave them more yardage on the lateral.
That flip from Trent Green was great too!
Heck of a run by the big man.
I see what u did there.
This was arguably the best play of John Tait's career.
that O-linemen was MOVING when trent green pitched it to him🤣🤣🤣
John Tait was a player - Chiefs first round pick a few years prior, ended up getting paid by the Bears.
Yeah that dude weighs 300 pounds and can move that fast. NFL players are scary when you think about it.

The Browns made the postseason in 2021. Well, it was the 2020 season a.k.a. "The COVID-19" year.

The play at 12:06 would've been all but over if it was executed. Just a slight over throw made a huge difference.
This finish became the new most Cleveland Browns thing ever, surpassing the Ernest Bynar fumble and Elway drive that followed.
The fumble followed the drive , not vice versa
