This is such an important interview. Came up in my feed as recommended because I'm assuming my phone was listening to me when I was talking about my trauma and disassociating.
One of the things that I don't know is if I have a system, but I do know that when I honor whatever I am feeling in the moment, whether it is the younger me, the young adult me, the me from 10 years ago, or the now me: I know that I heal more when I see myself in those moments and honor that part of myself.

Much rather have someone with their own challenges help me conquer mine... I'm not a book, I'm a human being. I want someone with real life experience 😕 to help me.

Me too. I love doctors and therapists that are not just book indoctrinated but had their own struggles and conquered them.

Thank u so much. It’s true I see the discrimination in people and even my therapist that tested us for DID / dissociation. I’m beginning to love this truth teller Jamie. It’s been a long battle for us- about 7 yrs and 4 therapists.
I had big time problems with EMDR but I’m looking back now seeing it may have been partly the clinicians issues and denial of DID. I still love and respect her.
    Tks again.
Do u have any information on DID therapist locator sites?

Can EMDR help with addiction ? Because other older traditions do not work.

How can bs meter and dissociation relate?

  • @derekpmoore

Celiac disease can cause these personas that you can interact with in your head! It might be related to hypoperfusion of the cerebellum, which also happens in brains of autistic patients.

That's right. Dr. Jamie Marich is diagnosed with another dissociative disorder but advocates for all those who have been diagnosed with a dissociative disorder, including DID.

funny she that the president in 2016 triggered her the one we have now triggers me the same way

The current is not a convicted sexual assailant and overt narcissist, the previous triggered me like nothing in the public sphere ever has. The open admittance by that person there is nothing wrong with groping girls and women triggered my danger, danger alarm bells. Completely reminded me of my sexual abusers in action and speech. Different triggers, guess you are comfortable with self-admitted abusers, Maybe something to really look at and compare without the political views propaganda but the basic personalities?

I've never heard him admit that he did anything. I've heard the whole conversation that he had with others that most people refrence. And i understood exactly w hat he was talking about. Groupies and people that follow famous people is whom he is talking about they will let famous people take advantage of them period. Unless you have some other evidence? Some other thing he said at another time?@@dylanmaxey2531

I am not interested in your sexuality
I have respect for you but I am tired of people talking about their gender preferences
.I just want to know about the topic at hand
