Great job
Very nice...the bag platform looks very solid 👍
THANKS!
You’re the greatest human
Being Alive ....!!!
very nice thanks bud
Young man, you have more skill than 99% of college graduates.
I hope you're considering an Engineering degree or Skilled Trades.
We need more young people like you in our Nation.
Gy Bx That’s so kind! Thank you so much!
@@countryboyboxing501 hello im 17, and i want to build one, what is the complete measurement of the plywood that you used and how to create a cut of correct round platform and what are the tools and materials did you used and its functions?
Good video, keep up the good work.😀
Good video CB and thanks for sharing. I used 1 " piece of pine and two 3/4" pieces of pine plywood so about 2½" thick, so for anyone else that is looking for examples. 🙂
Run a belt sander around the outside to clean up the coarse edge and coat it with an exterior spackle, sand and Paint. I like the Poly natural finish for the surface. Nice job by the way.
Hey thanks! I originally was going to do that, but then I liked the uneven look.
It’s Country Boy Boxing. It does the job and is outdoors. Looks solid and good to me.
Good job brother, I think I'm going to make one.
Love it
How has this got thumbs down awsome work bro ❤️
Good work man 👍🇪🇦🍋
Well done
Thanks!
Looks like he used a jigsaw. Nice looking platform.
Genius
I just used two layers and it works fine.
7 haters. Nicely done man 🔥
Haha thanks champ 👊
Nice tutorial, I’m planning on building a self standing post to go with the platform so I can take one back to college
Awesome!
Hey ! Can you explain me why the wood needs to be so thick ? Can I build it way more thin ? Or I will have a problem ?
I see you did this back in the beginning of 2019, how has it held up so far? Have you noticed the boards coming apart or anything along those lines? Also great content bud!
Nice. I'm building one now...
Sweet! I'd love to see it when you're done!
Nice dude, how well does that swivel dance? Its different than my loop+pin, (looks like a double-hinge?) curious how that'd feel comparatively..
In all honesty, I'm not sure. I've never used a loop and pin. I do think that they're probably better, but this one still did the job fine. Although, the loop and pin is probably much easier to put together.
Nice work. Did you use a circular saw to cut the boards out?
no i used a jig saw.
What is the radius or diameter of the platform?
Was there a reason for the thickness? Or was it just preferred? I can’t hear the audio (issue on my end) so I don’t know if u mentioned it..
I think it was just recommended
how many circles could you cut into each piece of plywood? Also, how big was each piece of plywood?
Just standard plywood size. I was able to cut out 5 rounds from one piece.
@@countryboyboxing501 Thanks a lot Country Boy Boxing, know I know how much plywood I need to start building.
what was the size of the original wood piece you cut?
4x8
Something this thick and solid costs hundreds.
Ikr? That's why I built my own. About 1/4 of the price or less.
Might be a dumb question but a home made one won’t effect the bounce back of the bag or anything?
Not if its solidly attached to whatever is holding it
What’s wrong with 13 people. They need to stop hating on someone this pure
What did you cut it out with?
dewalt jig saw. any jig saw will work though
I have come back for another watch I cannot decide what wood to use ?
Just standard plywood will work. That is what I used.
Back again
Brother, what wood did you use? and how many???
POSEIDON just standard plywood from Lowe’s or Home Depot
What size did u cut the rounds pices to?
24 inches
How much is the size diameter for your platform?
24in
how much does this platform weigh?? i want to build one now
I'm not sure, I never weighed it. It was pretty hefty though.
13 haters good job buddy 🥊
Can I use a log piece
Good Idea! That would probably work, but just make sure that it's not a fresh softwood. (You probably wouldn't want sap all over your speed bag). Also, make sure that it's cut as evenly as possible, then sand the surface.
Country Boy Boxing wait ain’t the more thicker it is less vibration???
Colt Volt Coaster Concepts did you end up using that log piece?my neighbor gave me some pieces and I want to give it a shot.
Joseph Kittell nah
Colt Volt Coaster Concepts word, I appreciate the response man. When I do it I’ll share the results
That is the wrong way to build. First you take 24x24 squairs then you glue them together then you cut a surcle
I was going to do that, but I couldn't find a jigsaw blade long enough to do so.
@@countryboyboxing501 then why teach the wrong way?
@@andreyrannev9927 cuz I'm a southern rebel.
@@andreyrannev9927 you're a fucking idiot does it matter? Still works dumbass
