Its nice, but I think the best part is the simplicity. All the game tables I keep seeing out there are just filled with too many extras and bells and whistles. Then it ends up looking crowded and busy.

Thank you so much. At first I wanted to use poplar but I felt bad about painting so then I used MDF. Because is inexpensive enough that I can replace in a year or 2 if damage. But so far, it’s handling everything really well. I drop a bowl of soup a few days ago and was so clean to use and no stains marks. I used 4 coats of polyurethane water base.
No, I didn’t stain. I would never stain walnut 🤗 this what I did: after I sanded to 220, I apply the clear coat (3 coats of general finishes, light sanded with 320 in between). Then I waxed
@@silralphsdesign Hi Ok I did not hear it right. I have never used wax on a project. Will be doing that on my sons game table that is close to staining and not much sense in staining walnut. I see that you like to build cool stuff too. Its fun. Maybe we will talk another time.

White, can accommodate a lot of people (4+), and has this super wallnut detail when it's an ordinary table.
