How the hell do you try to defend a team like Georgia with a 3 man front. #FireMikeStoops I understand why people say what they do about the Big12, but Sooners use to have a hell of a defense. They need to get that back. Especially after that Army game hahaaa. Stoops said he didnt know how to practice for triple option 🤣🤣

He will need to swallow his words soon but im sure he will stick to saying "Baker cant last 15yrs due to his size and location"
Sundays in Cleveland will be a lot more joyful then they've been in a long long time. The team has some ballers and Mayfield will be the king pin. Great breakdown. Look forward to more of these. Thanks.
It felt like the players quit on Tyrod watching that game live. It looked like nobody wanted to be there and Mayfield changed all of that the moment he got in. Mayfield is as advertised so far.
It comes down to Tyrod putting all that pressure on himself. There were a couple times he wouldnt have been sacked if had just thrown the ball to a open receiver. Its all in this tape that was shown. Tyrod fucked up. He held the ball too long and didnt read the defense right, didnt see open receivers, or just missed all together. Im wondering if Tyrod got to comfortable knowing his job wasnt in jeopardy since HUE was so set about sitting Baker. Or... and this is a stretch, but maybe he was concussed before he went out to a previous play messing up his judgement. Either way he screwed up bad in this game.
when he was in, every 3rd down the blitz was coming from the LT side. he NEVER picked it up. that was so frustrating. with Mayfield he will have his lumps but not as bad as Taylor. why he cant the D is beyond me.
I think he can read defenses but his biggest issue since getting to the league is that he doesn't go through his progressions the way he should and tends to lock on one guy. There's a perfect example of that in this video. Tyrod isn't a bad QB. In fact, if you just need a guy to drive the car without wrecking it, then he's your man. However, when you have talent behind him then it becomes apparently quickly that Tyrod shouldn't be starting. He'd be a much better fit for a team with an amazing defense and solid running game. Tyrod isn't going to lose you the game with dumb turnovers, but he's not going to win it single-handedly either.
I have been into football all my life except the last 3-4 years. Baker and Ward have me enjoying the beloved game I loved playing and watching in my younger days. Unfortunately drugs made me loose interest. Even when I got clean I still didn't care but watching those two and the rest of the Browns are coaxing me back into the game I loved. An that is priceless. Haha
He has the brains of Kosar, the moxie of Sipe, and the arm of Marino. It is still early, but he has potential. I don't want to get too excited....but I am! I am old enough to remember Kosar and Marino. Sipe was a bit before my time but have heard stories from others about #17's grit. Since 1993 the Browns have struggled at QB, even with a good year of Vinny that was bolstered by our D (1994).
I wish most "fans" watched and cared about this aspect of the sport. This is what makes the game so strategic for me. Football is much more than food, beer and girls. Although there is a time and place for those as well. Lol
wow! i gotta say: this is a good assessment! GOOD STUFF!!! you clearly understand offensive and defensive strategy, and you articulate your arguments well. My biggest problem with most quarterbacks in this league is lack of vision. As well, efficient and effective pocket movement is the most common deficit I see in most quarterbacks. Being able to use your lineman appropriately is key to giving yourself space in the pocket and extending your time to give receivers time to get to their 2nd and 3rd depths. Vision is a major deficit too; not just in prioritizing your reads but also in reading the blitzes and knowing when to audible, when to motion, as well cadence is important here. But vision is absolutely important when making your reads; once you make your read, however, you MUST be able to put the ball where the receiver WILL be not where he is but where he WILL be. You have to see your windows, know how high your receiver can jump and what he is capable of, but if you throw to where the receiver is when you make the read, you will end up with an incompletion or worse an interception. The arc and spin of the ball are ABSOLUTELY the biggest keys here. But, more importantly, a quarterback must throw from his legs. Energy comes from the ground into the feet through the legs and without hip motion and grounded feet, your passes will be weak and inaccurate. Footing is INCREDIBLY important when positioning and placing the football in a window that the receiver can go up and get. Also, I'm big proponent of the quick release. The quicker the release, the better. Power, spin, arc, and touch are big points too. You MUST see the ENTIRE field. EDGE to EDGE. Vision is everything. NFL teams biggest mistake when it comes to QB's: DEPTH you cannot expect to get a Tom Brady or a Michael Vick or a Joe Montana every year. Quarterbacks are the most AT-RISK position. So, you must stack them deep, build a strong line, and train pocket movement effectively. Then, you can develop the better ones. Number one rule when it comes to players: TEACHABILITY if I can't teach you, you are worthless to me. People that are unwilling to learn are the worst. There is always something new to learn and something worth working on. We all have weaknesses. I'll take a quick learner any day over a naturally talented know-it-all. Because its that type of self-centered attitude that will destroy a team.
Film Analysis: Tyrod should switch positions if he wants a job. Film shows when he was in Buffalo defense and McCoy carried that team. Tyron is a checkdown Charlie and a discount Micheal Vick. He should seriously consider switching positions unless he’ll be comfortable being a career backup.
Tyrod isnt an excellent thrower, but he is a good game manager. It's why Tyrod has the best QBR of any Bills QB in HISTORY. He doesn't turn the ball over, he's an elite runner, and he keeps drives moving. He's professional. There is a time and a place for what he does, but he looks out of place in today's gun-slinging NFL.

Yes and no. You can still hit the receiver, but not while in the act of catching. On the other hand if the pass is put where the receiver can catch and run, that puts it right close to the defender who can bat it, or go for the ball and collisions in that case are not flagged.
This guy should be on NFL network for real

Wow that's a lot, don't think I can reason spending that much. The angles are really nice though so I can see why it's so expensive.
With Mayfield being the starter, I think the browns may have a chance at having a winning season.
where do u get the nfl films from
They can not not destroy the reciever anymore as it is illegal and subject to fine and suspension
Yes and no. You can still hit the receiver, but not while in the act of catching. On the other hand if the pass is put where the receiver can catch and run, that puts it right close to the defender who can bat it, or go for the ball and collisions in that case are not flagged.
