I’m glad you guys at least did a full episode on this tournament instead of dividing them into two tournaments like all the others. Let’s go back to one episode per tournament. There’s always so much more detail.
Brandon you rock! Me and my entire family are in this video cheering you on right after Dave reads your weight. What an awesome day. Can't wait to fish against you someday!
I agree with Andrew Thomas. Those ESPN2 shows in the 2000s that focused on a single event are what so many middle aged fishing fans remember so much to this day.
This is from our Elite Series rulebook: C20. ELITE SERIES POINT SYSTEM: Bassmaster Elite Events will be on a 1-point-per- place system based on the field size on Day 1 of the first Elite event of the year. From that day forward, the point system will remain the same throughout the season, including any post-season event. Example: If the season starts with a field size of 108, first will be awarded 108 points, second, 107, down to the last angler weighing a legal fish in the final standings. The remainder of the season would remain the same regardless of the number of withdrawals. Competitors must weigh a legal bass during competition to receive points. In the case where one or more competitors do not weigh a legal bass, points will end at the place of competitors weighing a legal bass. Year-end points/AOY tiebreakers will be broken by total weight from full field days for the season. - Sara
