It is difficult to get a rental space if you are a single woman even with your mother and sister. After my father's death i brought my mom and sister to the city where I am working , one house owner , a senior guy asked me " veettil anungal ille", was shocked and told him undayirunnu marichu poyi...it's heart breaking.But good people were also there to understand situation.
Have not faced any such problems in Trivandrum in all these years..(my experience). Problems are with bringing others for stay for sharing without the owner's permission, drunken/disruptive behaviours, defaulting on rents and all. My landlord and his wife took extra care about me and requested the family belowstairs to befriend me and just look in on me as I was staying alone during Covid times. My present landlady is also a dear.
You are bold. It was a wise decision. I am sure a person like you won’t take a decision without thinking a lot and I found the life of veena from Verenas curry world very inspiring for the girls . Be brave and go ahead with courage.

It is difficult to get a rental space if you are a single woman even with your mother and sister. After my father's death i brought my mom and sister to the city where I am working , one house owner , a senior guy asked me " veettil anungal ille", was shocked and told him undayirunnu marichu poyi...it's heart breaking.But good people were also there to understand situation.
Have not faced any such problems in Trivandrum in all these years..(my experience). Problems are with bringing others for stay for sharing without the owner's permission, drunken/disruptive behaviours, defaulting on rents and all. My landlord and his wife took extra care about me and requested the family belowstairs to befriend me and just look in on me as I was staying alone during Covid times. My present landlady is also a dear.
