If you’re interested in more funny 1.0.0 smash things, you can do the infinite assist trophy glitch with Isabelle. That’s what I always use it for😂

@LaserDoge74 you can also just remove the updates in the options menu for the game. I don’t remember off the top of my head but it should be under save data or data management or something like that. Only downside is you’ll have to unlock all the characters again

@@Mew2Win It just removes them, since they weren’t part of the game at release and were added in their own specific patches later on.
Pichu f-tilt hitbox, duration, or frame data was never nerfed. It was only the knockback that got nerfed.
Also, some of the recoil damage moves got its self-damage reverted by to pre-patch status at patch 11.0, with Agility actually dealing less recoil damage than pre-patch.
I remember shield damage for projectiles was heavily nerfed at some point. In theory, Mii Gunner was at least high tier in the early game because of true shield break setups, but people just had worse defense back then and very aggressive characters like Pichu and Chrom were also very good which is part of the reason why people didn't use them.

You missed the biggest post 1.0 ganon nerf of all thanks to that short match.
Ganon's side-b used to always kill him last. Before the day 1 patch, he was the only character with a suicide move that always killed him last

I think Lucas is one of the most balanced characters in the game. Any buffs he got neutralized with a nerf.

Rosalina in 1.0 is LITERALLY the worst character in smash history. I'm talking worse than SSB4 palutena or SSBM bowser. She straight up does not work.

If your going to do another 1.0 video, make sure you run out of a monado when getting hit by a final smash. Then you unlock the most op character in smash history,shult with all monados on at once until he dies

Oh no…in 1.0.0 the CPUs were insanely hard, so they had to nerf their AI. That still made them the smartest AI in the series…just look at Kazuya…
I liked the ai, i kinda wish they kept it, because in most smash games, the ai was garbage
They didn't nerf the general CPU AI, they only nerfed the CPU AI when unlocking characters.

While you're back in 1.0, maybe you could take a look at the glitches that were in the game back then? Isabelle's infinite assist trophies, the Giga Shulk glitch that activated all of his monados at once, etc.
For your own safety please do not call shulk's arts "monados." If you say that in a tournament against a shulk player they will punch you in the throat

You forgot about Mii gunner, she was at least top 20 due to shield breaks
Not only could DDD break shields with one fsmash due to a bug that counted the hit on shield twice, gordos did actual shield damage before the universal projectile nerf and could poke through shields.
Ike, Pichu, and Inkling had OP percentage back then...

His upsmash being actually useful and his side and down b actually functioning the way they were supposed to really helped as well.
I hate how much everything got nerfed to hellll! Pichu was too strong but Pikachu? Nah Pikachu should just remain s tier for the entire games cycle! Even Sakurai himself said that he wasn't apart of the balance team and if he had, k rool would have never gotten butchered like he did!

Man sometimes I wish I never played Pikachu at the beginning of Smash Ultimate (well when I first got it, I forgot what version it was, unless it was 1.0 but whatever) and instead played Pichu. I just played Pikachu in Smash 4 so I was like “I’m gonna play Pikachu again!” When pichu is just so much more fun. At least pichu isn’t bad though, so it isn’t all bad.
Someone should mod the game so everyone is in their best patch if that makes sense

Marth's tippers were generally so much harder to land, and now after the buffs, he feels so much more like a character. He still has a sus Dancing Blade, but that's about it. Also it's funny how Lucina actually got nerfed a bit.
Corrin was also very bad. Up special was weak and inconsistent, side B was trash, and landing some attacks weren't worth it. Now she's placing well at majors and has one of the best kits a slow swordie could have.
Hero... wait was Hero EVER nerfed or buffed? I don't think so.

Tbf Inkling is technically better now. The only change prior to the last update where they buffed her was a roller nerf. It’s just that back then no one knew how to beat the thing lol
Random early ultimate thing everyone forgot about cause they patched it early: the shield up b option select. If you held up b while holding shield, the very instance you got hit your up b would come out. Was kind of a broken defensive tool.
You should have tried Dedede, in 1.0 his FSmash hit shields TWICE. You could break shields with ease back then

Version 3.0 did a universal nerf to the shield damage of many projectiles. I really wanted to see someone bring out a zoner character like Samus, Olimar, or a Belmont. I wonder if they would have really been that bad.
Samus side b to neutral b was my life
Belmont side-b was their only projectile that suffered the shield dmg nerf and it was largely inconsequential, axe was left untouched.

As a pit main, he was absolute garbage pre buffs. None of his hitboxes worked properly, and he hardly had any consistent combos. The guardian orbitars got changed around to be almost as good as 1.0.0
