For Kitana's ending, I think that she made Shang Tsung's Island like Themyscira. Looking back at these endings, and from what learning more about Green Lantern, getting the Pyramid vs the Sinestro Corps sounds fuckin badass.
He didn't "find" Injustice. He and Lex teleported the heroes from the alternate universe into theirs. The Lex in the game is also a villain so this can't be the dc characters in Injustice

I was expecting the narrator to say more about Scorpion instead he just suddenly stopped

Sub-Zero's ending: I am the the ice, I am The Frost Ninja
Lin Kuei not liking Sub Zero leaving them to be a vigilante. Just like Batman leaving the League of Shadows huh? Also Kitana living on an island with women like the Amazons and Wonder Woman.All of these endings seem to be somewhat inspired by the other universe's characters. Kano as Joker, Quan Chi with Kryptonite, Omac (Ermac)...I like it.
(I'm assuming the pyramid was a reference to Armageddon )

Batman’s ending was not referencing Ermac. In the comics, Batman creates Brother Eye to help him deal with superpowered threats, and Brother Eye proceeded to make the OMAC virus
this game is underrated. I loved how they blended DC and mortal Kombat. I love the gameplay and the story it's only problem was the fatalities and heroic brutalities.
The batman ending was a Easter egg for injustice! The breach in metropolis!

I think it was just meant as a sequel hook. If it meant anything at all.
Or perhaps Injustice was just piggybacking it.

I can agree with that, it was smart of them to go back to their roots and make MK 2D again. When ever they cross over it never retains what made it special. The 5 3D MK games were cool for what they are but MK is best in 2D where it belongs. I was hoping they would have did the Motion Caption again and had real actors like John Parrish in MK9 and went all the way back to their roots. I see how it wouldn't work for this generation of gamers but it would have been beautiful for us vets.

qbinn yeah if I was going to make Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe 2 I'd probably start off with a comic series establishing the endings here as an epilogue to the first game. I'd also include the clashes from the Injustice games and make sure to have Sindel and Silver Banshee, and Mileena and Karu-Sil in the roster so I can make jokes about their similarities.

A MK vs DCU Sequel would be awesome, these endings would make a good template for the character designs. E.G. Sonya would be Green Lantern, Kano would be like the Joker and so on. Just a thought I liked.

If Baraka's ending was DC influenced than I fail to see the connection. Also I find it near Kitana turned Shang Tsung's island into her version of Thymascyra and in turn Wonderwoman was blessed with weapons of both the Greek and Elder gods.

Liu Kang's ending isn't too far off from MK11's ending.
WRONG mk11 liu kang: becomes literally the time lord. Mk vs Dc liu kang arcade ending: gains the power of captain marvel and therefore becomes stronger and takes the spot of the protector of earth realm. I think what you meant to say was that Raiden did something similar to liu kang on what he did to liu in mk11

Dispite MK vs DC was the worst game ever in teh MK universe, I have to admit the endings where some of the characters are like the other worlds, is really cool.

If there's ever a sequel, add Johnny Cage, Mileena, Cyrax and Nightwolf and Jade for MK. For DCU, add The Huntress, Black Canary, Two-Face, The Riddler, and Bane.
I doubt a real sequel will ever happen due to the backlash this game got from fans for toning down the violence due to the use of the DC Comics license. I think the Mortal Kombat DLC characters for the Injustice games will be the only follow up we will get.

Does kinda sound like they are hinting at it, but might have just been gearing up for a MK Vs DC 2, who knows. It was a good idea but it had to have real fatalities for this game to work and since it didn't I think that's why it did not get a big response. To me it was the same as all the other 3D fighting MK games only difference was there wasn't any "real" fatalities.
