Cruella has been a longtime favorite, and I wanted to give her a total badass moment. I felt like a little Thierry Mugler in the 90's Inso could collide well with the world of Cruella De Vil, so I made it happen! The skirt is made from a tinsel ring fabric, and the Tuxedo jacket dress is a rayon suiting with a rayon satin lining. it has a great weight to it, and screams Cruella to me.

I was feeling that way about another movie as well. I did some reading about it and this movie is supposed to show us how Cruella became evil. I just hope they don’t ruin our love/ hate thing like they did with Maleficent. I ended up feeling sorry for her because of Angelina.

I can maybe sew a button, which is my bad my Mom handmade all my clothes until about 3rd grade. Years later I could see something in a magazine and she would create it for me without a pattern. I also asked her for a floor length cloak with a kinda droopy hood that looks great up or hanging down. I miss her and wish I would’ve learned from her instead of riding and showing horses. I don’t regret the horse part of my life, but wish I had a few more sewing skills. Thanks for sharing with us! 💜

Your designs may not be what I would wear now, but I always appreciate beautiful design and fabric with excellent construction! Your Cruella design is smashing with the detailing at the sides and the gorgeous fringed fabric! Sky's the limit!

Oh am is that dress fantastic from the swish of the skirt to the train of the jacket. I love the contrast of the different fabrics together.I love the white labels of the jacket. The whole outfit screams Cruella de Ville❣️

He's correct about meticulous pressing as you sew. Nothing looks right without it, regardless of how expensive the fabrics are.

Hey! I don’t know if anyone else mentioned this but you can buy tape for draping on Amazon! It is already thin so you don’t have to cut painter tape! Just don’t buy the one with a shiny top. That tape doesn’t work, it doesn’t stay when you use it. Just so you know! It could save a little time! Great job by the way! I love it!!

For me, there’s something so aesthetically pleasing about your hands and fingers. I love that you wear polish, I love your rings, and it’s almost the same feeling as having a beautiful manicure, and enjoying how my own hands look.
