- Swedish folk duo First Aid Kit are back with their new album, Palomino, the follow-up to 2018's Ruins. The record finds sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg in a more optimistic mood, a frame of mind reflected in their embrace of a '70s and '80s pop pallet.

Really love the new album. Always great to hear uplifting melodies and melancholy lyrics. And Lion's Roar definitely still holds up as one of the best albums of the century.

Klara’s not kidding; I was sending “Out of My Head” to my friends to hear when it dropped on RUclips and kept selling it as “the most cheerful and upbeat song about sad mental health”. 😂😂
Love 'em, been following them from the beginning. 'Angel' and 'Out of my head' superb.
According to Spotify, Angel was my most played song in 2022. I still listen to this album on regular rotation.
Can I just mention how cool it is how comfortable they are conversing in English? Most native English speakers aren't nearly so well-spoken.

For me not as strong as Ruins... starts quite strong and ends strongly but seems to be lacking the quality of songs of the previous ( 2 ) albums
