Coach is still coach, Kate spade will be kate spade. Stuart weitzman will still be their own brand but under Coach. Since we have 2 brands under our name we decided to change the " inc." to "tapestry" just for our stocks. It's a small insignificant change that the media and people are just blowing out of proportion.

Just bought my wife a Coach now known as Tapestry bag yesterday after watching this video I called her to ask her how much she liked her new Coach now known as Tapestry bag she said she loved it. I then told her about the name change she was livid I guess no more Coach now known as Tapestry for us.

They are, Coach's parent company is now call Tapestry. Tapestry owns other brands such as Kate Spade New York and Stuart Weitzman. The name Coach was the name of the party company before the change.

I used to work for Coach and it's probably if not one of the best designer company to work for. Their handbags are handmade with such pristine care and accuracy. I used to dislike Coach because everyone had it but learning about it's history and quality changed my perception all around. Not sure about the name change but I'm assuming they have a mission as to why they changed it for the better of their company.

The redundancy of this video is ridiculous. " Coach now Tapestry" you acknowledged the name change of the umbrella companies name and still said now known as. Coach as a brand is not changing it's name. The company is just restructuring.
It was so bad, I could not even finish watching it.
Ok so I just looked this up. The Coach Brand remains. They renamed the parent company, similar to Alphabet, Google’s holding company, to manage Coach as well as Kate Spade and Stuart Weitzman. Apparently the race is on to see if there will be a major luxury holding company in the US as they have in Europe. And yes, in light of this, there was no need for the narrator to repeatedly include Tapestry everytime she uttered Coach.

Coach is actually not changing it’s name. Tapestry is the new parent brand created to be an umbrella over Coach, Stewart Weitzman, and Kate Spade.
As a Louisiana native, when you referred to a Coach, now Tapestry, bag as being made of Louisiana crocodile, you might be interested to know that crocodiles aren't native to Louisiana but alligators are, and Louisiana alligator hide is among the best found in the world.

Coach will not be changing their name to TAPESTRY. Only the corporate headquarters name will be changed to tapestry but not the actual "coach" brand name Of the leather goods🙏🏻👌🏼😅

The name Tapestry literally sounds like I’m going to a store to make drapes and curtains for my house. Like really? That’s the best name he can came up with? Coach is not rebranding. Tapestry is the mother company overseeing Coach, Kate Spade, and Stewart Weitzman. Coach is a 75-year-old brand they will not change the name. A simple fact check on the Tapestry corporate website would have explained this or simply asking anyone who works for the company.

Had to stop watching less than half way through. The whole tapestry/ coach thing was annoying. We get it. You didn’t need to say it so often.
Coach the name of the brand is staying the same, however the PARENT company, previously named Coach Inc. who owns Stuart Weitzman, Coach, and Kate Spade, is now known as Tapestry so the brand and the parent company won't get confused with.
Coach will always be known as Coach. Regardless if they change the name. The new creator is doing an excellent job. I hope he stays.
Perhaps they should change the parent name from "Tapestry" to "COACH......NOW TAPESTRY...." LMAO!

I started buying COACH bags back in the early 90s. They are great, quality LEATHER bags--they don't make them like that anymore and the rebranding is the final nail in the coffin. It is truly the end of an era! 😥
Boy were you wrong! Coach has surged so much! Brought back vintage style bags, still have amazing quality, now Uber stylish bags. Coach is having a huge resurgence and I’m happy to see it. I’ve got everything from a 60s basic bag, ten rogues and about sixty coach bags from 60s to now.
I’m a fan of coach I just bought a nice leather backpack and love it, also got a coach watch wish it had more weight to it.

Who’s idea was it to change coach to that awful name 😂😂 iv never seen tapestry replacing coach anyway though THANKGOD. I think coach is unique and from what iv seen amazing quality!! Every girl is all about Gucci or Louis Vuitton, it’s nice to have something different that isn’t as hyped! I think coach is definitely making a comeback

Is Coach bag hardware on bags from retail boutique stores made of solid BRASS or is it just metal which is brass plated? Sales people in the stores just guess and you get several different answers. Example is the for the Tabby collection and the Cassie collection.
Coach is not a leading luxury brand. Most people can afford coach and you see them everywhere. When you go to a mall and see 100 women with a coach bag and shopping the piles of coach on sale, it ceases to be luxury.
COACH IS STILL COACH, Tapestry is just the name mother brand. Nobody calls coach tapestry, even the staff (ex-employee here 🙋🏼♂️)

I just bought a real Coach Vintage 1970s with serial number Messenger Bag for men. Made in New York City, USA. That was a wrong move to change to new name. Coach brand name still has more influence than the current name
Did you also know coach and Kate Spade is made in Mariveles Bataan -.- ofc nobody knows that. It’s my hometown. My uncle works there and they only get a little tag that says made in the Philippines which gets removed when they get transported.

I’m thinking tapestry sounds cheap. I think could cause loss of interested. I left coach behind for about 10 years purchased Lv Gucci and mk . Are back because of the quality and price. And. OST of all packaging is so important to customers. Coach has best without asking or paying extra. Kate spade bad packaging and customer service but such cute items. Bad packaging tells me there not proud enough to have great presentation. Yep I’m back coach lover :)

One thing about this video is very wrong. Coach is NOT changing there name to “Tapestry“. That is the name of the company who owns both tapestry and Kate Spade.
Personally, I am more of a Kate Spade fan. I own some of both brands though and I have a love for coach aswell but The spade name will always stick to me. I definitely see the change in their designs over time but I think it has more effect on the outlets than the actual stores. personally I think they should not have bought Kate Spade simply because of the little things like that random sales once in a while.

Lovely informative video! But I love the name Coach n the Signature C Is part of the attraction for me! I can't see a T on their stuff! I think it's pointless to build up coach brand over so many years n then ruin it by calling it something else! They can branch out into another sub brand calling it Tapestry
