considering i did a B swap with a lot of extras in about 5-6 hours solo with quite a few smoke/food breaks its easily possible. IF you know exactly what you're doin and this would take considerably more skill vs the simple R&R job i did.

you can tell a lot about a mechanic by how they treat their drill bits.
Too much information is missing . such as what fuel lines you ran size. Fuel pressure regulator ecu and program what axels etc..
Mario Sanchez it's not like a put a fucking v8 in it, hes running the same blood engine my guy he probably running mostly stock and if not he probably already had the shit running with his B motor making it very irrelevant to this particular swap, you know just enough to look dumb and it's got me laughing my ass off lol
Just imagine taking out the stock engine, and putting it back in. Then imagine taking out the stock engine, and putting in a K20, same process essentially, it's basically the same engine

This is literally the same thing I did with my H23a Vtec swap. The shifter just goes above not below the frame. I have a full H series swap in my EJ. I always thought it was more complicated than this to swap a K
I think it’s just when it comes to the wiring it becomes a headache of what goes where and how comfortable you are with touching cars .
But most of the hard part is collecting the parts .

Only person in the country who wouldn't recommend a spot weld drill bit. Learn how to use it first before u "don't recommend it".
Funny, because I've seen several crx swap videos where they say the exact same thing though
Use a punch first and some wd40 to keep it cool and keep the speed low and slow don't apply so much pressure pretty simple with patiants

Dawg they are spinning the bit too fast! Gotta let the bit do its job, old machinist told me the longer the shavings are the better, a sign of you going the correct speed for the bit to cut the best. Which is better for the bit than grinding on metal and not cutting it. Simple physics

Having a nozzle cup on your welding lead will help with your welds.. it helps with the gas and keeping the atmosphere around the weld.

Holy shit.. this is sick. I have a gsr in my eg , but this is way cooler ahha. Where did that mount come from ??? The other two mounts are just bolt on swap mounts?
They look like hasport mounts and yes the other two are bolt on. Everything is bolt on nowadays for k series swap except passenger mount.

Maybe I missed it, but what axles did you use for this swap?
Mine is going to take a bit, going to respray the entire shell and bay so it will be a while for my swap. I’m also going with a tucked harness and sound deadening the firewall and the rest of the car, Already have all of my suspension components installed so that part is finished. Now it’s time to pull the engine, can’t wait.

@@stykly1220 it went pretty well! I don't have the car anymore but it went to a guy that has several civics and last I heard from him he was going to turbo it. With everything into it the build was about $10-12k when completed
How fast is a hatchback w/ a stock K24A swapped in outside a few minor bolt ons? I was kind of thinking of buying a mid 2000s Civic, maybe an 04-05 Ex with a sunroof and then swapping a JDM K24A 200HP TSX engine w/ a 6spd manual and putting a small turbo on it running low boost @ 7-8PSI on a stock motor as a daily driver. Have it tuned up with a Hondata ECU, lower it on rims and coilovers and throw newer Civic Si seats in it, possibly recaro buckets whatever I can get the best deal on.
Easiest Honda chassis to do k24 swap in? Have small budget. Plan to daily it until I die , or can't drive stick anymore due to back issues with age.

when you did this did you use like a jack spania or universal harness? also what did you connect the fans to? the factory harness or did you wire them in seperate?
Y'all need some tall jack stands and 1 of those harbor freight furniture dollies for getting the motor under imagine how fast it'd be if y'all did it the opposite of working harder

good way to get off spot welds is a belt sander, thats what all the techs use at my dads shop

Why would you weld without the gas cup on, those welds aren’t going to hold up

He used the stock k20 harness. Not the old harness from previous engine.
K24 engine is it accord 2008 engines? And I can use the tubro with him or should be changed the pistons and valve with the cams shift

Shouldn't jack a car up from bottom radiator support seen a few cars bent at that point
