Another great video Nick It’s great watching this build come along and while as a owner of a few G60’s I’m more into the original aspects of the car your focus on keeping it looking original will ensure this build turns out well
Really interesting build series. I'd like to hear more about the engineering side of things too. How does the process work? Do you need to have inspections done along the way or send photos of the work you're doing? What costs are involved to engineer a project like this? Things like that.
Loving the detail going into this build. Have you measured the length of the finished guard and length of the cab to see the difference. Just thinking the rule of thirds for proportions. If the guard is the same length as the cab and the tray is the same length again it should look correct proportionaly. Just a thought. Keep up the good work dude.
@@SIDETRACKED I saw not to long ago bloke had the rear wheel carrier door mould cut out of the barn door. And had a panel remade to shape the door more natural curve. Which allowed him to have huge cavity in behind his barn door table. I'll msg you through insta a few pics
Getting better each episode Nick. I have seen all Timmy's videos on his space cab conversion. Excellent work also.
Totally agree with your line of thinking as regards to the body extensions and wheel placement
Another awesome episode, cheers for the shouts 🧘🏻♂️❤️
Thanks for your help
Another awesome video and what you said at 18-19 mins sounds good.
Thanks Nick see you on ep 25. Good work.
Another great video Nick

Yea fair call. I'll put that down as a future video, thanks for the suggestion.
Proportions are spot on, I think if you had added to the A pillar it would have lost a critical part of the G60 look.
Yep, very good point you make Lachy

Yea I did after a previous comment. They are very similar
It's going to be very unique, are you going to slide the bonnet forward and put a filler panel behind it.?
Yep correct, that same 85mm in the front fender
What’s your occupation as you seem to know a lot about sheet metal work
Doing very well on the build series as well 💪🏼
Carpenter by trade mate, I guess I've done a lot of research along the way.
Bloody great G60 build i can,t wait too see the G60 on the road ,what motor are you planing too run and have you considered a LS v8?
I'm putting the Nissan td42 in it. Did consider something else but the TD is a bloody good motor for what I want to do with it
Have You Thought About Putting in SomeSorta RollCage?
Especially if You are Going To Use It.
Yea it comes up in conversation. It's not required but there's a fair chance I'll put something in there.
What are you looking at in ways of mods? Lockers, winch, bar work, 12v ?
Elockers are already fitted up, winch front and rear, barwork to be confirmed but definitely will be and probably a basically 12v system
In the future be interested in building Gu parts. ?
What parts are you after?
