    Of course David deserves this, and so much more. He will always be above any man made award anyways..
    David, being the old soul he is, so mature from a young age on, and ever with a delightful, childish curiosity, his magnificent creativity an expression of his love of life, and of his ponderings on the obvious as well as on things beyond our material existence. David Bowie, simply an exceptional human being.
    We love you so, dear David, thank you, always

    Makes perfect sense. Bowie turned down a potential royal honour, so this was the final opportunity to mark his body of work.

      Tomo Sounds I rematched the end after a year and I it made a little more sense to me. He has to go away because killing people ends up hurting the people he loves. The way he easily takes her dead sister away from the hospital is too easy. Idk. I didn't like that. But overall he had a point on going away from her gf and fam

      He played Thomas Newton in ‘Lazarus,’ Bowie’s musical sequel to the novel ‘The Man Who Fell To Earth, ’ during the New York and London runs in 2015-16. Bowie himself played the part in the 1976 movie. They spent time together in his final months. Bowie’s single ‘Lazarus’ originated in the musical, along with 3 other tracks, ‘No Plan’, ‘Killing A Little Time’ and ‘When I Met You’.

      It’s simply because Bowie wasn’t mainstream enough. This latest award was probably a little of a tribute more than a genuine award. Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s the album of 2016 but it’s not the sort of mainstream album they usually reward at these things. His 2014 and 1984 best male awards fit the mould a lot better.

      Late to the party here but Michael C Hall was starring in Bowie’s musical at the time, ‘Lazarus,’ wherein he played Thomas Newton, a character Bowie played in the 70s. ‘Lazarus’ and ‘Blackstar’ were concurrently David’s last projects.

      I understand his album winning an award but how on earth does someone that isn't even alive to receive the award win this?

    • @-killerqueen-5858
      @-killerqueen-5858 7 лет назад +39

      Teamsolocrysm David Bowie changed the music industry and the world . Half of today's artists wouldn't be around if it wasn't for him, it wasn't just his music it was what he wore what he did it opened up new opportunities and broke boundaries. Bowie said the Internet would take over the world and he was laughed at but it did. He was one of most extraordinary people there and should win more awards than trash like drake and fucking one direction.

    • @teamsolocrysm
      @teamsolocrysm 7 лет назад +3

      and so did so many other artists that have died. Still doesn't make sense he would win an award he can't receive or won't ever know he had received.
