Coming back to this after chapter 78 and this is seriously a direction I can see the series taking, with the recent reveals of Shibai Otsutsuki, you really weren't even all that far off with the name "Senshi". This animations intrigues me because I think it's a very realistic path for the Boruto manga going forward.
I think even Shibai might be a pawn, compared to this stuff, if it ever gets part of the canon. Shibai already fulfilled his desire of transcendence and left the world and his body behind, while this goon seems to have other plans.
