But i guess it's pointless to not make a statement after all. What these guys did makes me sick to my bones. And nothing they'll ever do will make up for what they did to those women. @@shamanlamadingdong7426 Thanks for sharing your perspective. I actually had about 1 or 2 minutes of video time where i talked about this in the video. But i decided to cut it out when i was editing since it didn't really add to the analysis or history of the music. This is a channel about the history, sounds and riffs of various artists and how those things integrate. NOT about drama or general life events. If they end up releasing an album a year from now where they sing about the incident or where they try to make amends, i would possibly decide to cover that in a video.
@@LieLikesMusic Matt's currently not in the band and Brooks is now the only founding member left. I like to know much of a musical contribution Matt has had and if Brooks even has the ability to continue the evolution of the growlers sound on his own. I've been under the assumption that Brooks only contribution of his voice and poetry.
Not one word about the genius last album?
City Club sounds very Strokesy
Nice shirt 👍
Thanks ;)
What are your thoughts on the sexual assault allegations w/the band? I've been a fan for a while and was supposed to see them twice in 2020 before everything went to shit. You think they'll bounce back?
I think they've lost a part of their audience forever. But there seems to be others that forgive them. So if they don't get into any more trouble i think they'll still be able to play live. More venues and media outlets are going to neglect them in the next months and years cause no one wants to be involved with criminals. So they'll have to be careful and smarter from now on.
@@LieLikesMusic never gonna happen. Abusers don’t change, they just get better at covering up their actions
@@AGrrrlsTwoSoundCents this. People need to realize this.
@@LieLikesMusic I for one have cut them out of my music rotation. Absolutely spoiled everything they've made.
Lee eh, I've been reading it as lie likes music as in tell a lie....
Yes i've noticed that for the past 2 years. It's time for a little correcting. My name is Lie, but pronounced Lee ;)
@@LieLikesMusic good to know.
Lie the other way is a pretty cool alias tho hahaha.
Do a video on the minuitemen, and I'll spread the pronunciation correction for you.
