- note : it is common to think that the best tracks on a compilation is on the beginning, and the curator places the other at the end. This is absolutely not how this compilation was conceived, it is a trip, first track is the beginning of this story, and last track is the end, we worked a lot with the artists to have their track very well matched with the theme.

Just happened to find the same song by someone else. An Alternate Moment by Patrick O’Hearn.
It is altered a bit.
Diskette Park - Anemone = Patrick O'Hearn - An Alternate Moment
A Video game called "Whoops, all water levels!"
At least they aren't ice levels
"We had a CRAZY MIX ー UP at the video game factory!!! "
Subnautica, one of the greatest game experience of my 30 years
@@the9file I heard that in the voice from Xavier Renegade Angel
+5 xp
this is actually beautiful i want to be 9 in the 'computer room' again
no matter how nice this playlist is, don't run your computer underwater! my sister tried it and she's been sleeping for 3 days now
I love 3D digital spaces. Especially old ones, that look much different from reality. They give me a feeling of pure peace, loneliness and serenity.
This makes me feel like I am inside the one in the picture.
I think the same as you... this reminds me of old video games from space to art that they did back in the 90's and early 2000's ... and the amazing work on Digital Blasphemy.
@@asterlofts1565 to me it kind of reminds of Rayman 2! Those old 3D platforms were the best!
BRYCE - it's been owned by everyone in the business, and has been free and paid -
i think DAZ now owns it and you can get a free version -
ive been using it since the 90s -
i remember the primus album was clearly used with bryce -
damn you really put into words why I love old cgi spaces
try lsd

Absolutely refreshing to know that sounds like these can magically appear when all you are looking is for something new....
I went to rewind the video to “No Death - My Zero” and noticed the huge spike in community rewinds on the seeker bar right at that song. I felt understood.
You should check out Same Drugs by Chance The Rapper then, both the mixtape and video versions
@@yohualtica “when did you start to forget how to fly?” got me
Water levels might be a nightmare, but water themed music is a dream.
I can't believe how beautiful this album is. Every track feels like experiencing eternity in a body of water
Agree
"Desert sand feels warm at night - - 海の隠された秘密" is basically Cluster One by Pink Floyd.
No my friend, Cluster One by Pink Floyd is basically "Desert sand feels warm at night - - 海の隠された秘密" ;)
Now THAT is an album cover!
I was about to play this while studying, but not even a minute into it I realized it deserved all of my attention. Great work!
Man this is why I can't get any studying done lol
Either I spend an hour figuring out what to listen to or I spend an hour listening and not doing what I was supposed to do

40:07 Incredible track here. Absolutely incredible. It is moving and beautiful and...any description cannot do it justice...I'm lost for words. I...I don't even....
I agree. This is my favorite one from the album.
Stormy likes vaporwave, who knew
18:04 Is also abismally, intensely beautiful to me
makes me tear up when listening to it
Just got there… wow man no kidding
this is like the first time i've listened to one of these and not just thought 'hey that's good to have on' but 'hey, this music is actually good'
(39:25) Beautiful call back to "Underwater Frigate Reactor Core Theme from Metroid Prime" idk if it was intentional, but def brought a lil tear to my eyes
Holy fuck you're right!
It brought back some good memories, but also bad ones if you didn't have the special suit haha. What an amazing game
came back to this like 8 times and It's needless to say that this was much needed for quarantine.
Thank you Vapor Memory
This is so good for the apocalypse, u know
yeah vaporwave was a good last genre
Why is it dying?
@@gabrielboi3465 it isn't. It's always been dying and has always been a memory. I mean, look at the channel name.
“The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again.”
@@djtjpain "Times fades even legend, and the origin of Soul Reaver has been lost long ago. But it's purpose remains - to feed on the souls of any creature it strikes. Kindred, this blade and I."
It's like my ears are enjoying a refreshing glass of ice cold nostalgia juice.
this music makes me want to have a really nice indoor garden in the middle of a city
why not?
I have an indoor aquaponics outside of Dallas
You slick as hell, didn't think I wouldn't notice the Amiga classic shadow of the beast at 15:09. Great work Lotus Forever. Shit is plated
I’ve had memory remnants of a water paradise from a past life.
This is exactly what I needed right now. Inject this wistful melancholy right in to my veins
I just can't get enough of this mix! It's so well ordered, and each track is lovely and immersive. I feel like I'm in a Fiji water bottle, or floating in one of the lakes in the Diddy Kong Racing game.
More people need to hear this kind of music. I feel like barely anyone knows this kind of music.
For the folks at home, what is it called?
@@samuelcarstens6152 it's called vaporwave
The second song is my favourite.
I comeback to listen to this during the winter and early spring. Goes hard.
First track is honestly such a mood Atmosphere, amazing intro for this mix!
God, I wish that were me.
Diskette Park song is by Patrick O'Hearns "Alternate Moment"
This is absolute perfection, sends me into another world every time I listen. Thank you for uploading and sharing this with us. It's just so good.
Glad to own a shirt and 11x16 poster of this album
this album is so important.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful language
Feels right🪐
Big Enigma Energy and I am here for it
Yea this definetly will scratch that itch
Wow, this was such a beautiful meditative experience. Authors truly lived up to their words. 😌
I like 6:18 a lot, it sounds like someone is banging on the pipes in the interior of a submarine
My kinda jam
Fav track (trippy af, i love it): 11. No Death - My Zero (40:07)
Track three hits me so hard. I can't elaborate in a comment efficiently enough, but it's so good.
absolutely feel you
Okay so I’ve found that the original sample is from a song called An Alternate Moment - Patrick O’Hearn (2006) and it feels a lot like some late90s-early00s water level electronica type
PLEASE go check John Beltran work if you don’t know about him. I’m sure you’ll get the same feeling while listening to tracks such as Alone Again, Gutaris Breeze, Blue World or Anticipation
He’s such a great artist who created musical places I’ve been visiting regularly the past decade
Have a great week
Wow. Been searching for songs to give me this feeling for a while.
I keep listening to no death over the past couple months it makes me think about my dog who died. Best dog ever.
my dog sleeps to no death!
diatomées is what afterlife sounds like in my dreams
Slowdive- hah, I see what you did there with the airwolf theme.
i'm zooted and 1:06:54 is sending me. just makin me think about a virtual ocean paradise
YT has been trying to recommend this one and I have ignored it on purpose because I thought it was this one vapor album I listened to that was extremely depressing. But upon revisiting, I'm very glad I did
Its getting hard to wake up in the morning.
That's why we have vaporwave
same tho
Track 3 is fiiiiiiiire
One of my favorite mixes on youtube, i always play it if i wake up very early
Ahhh a wonderful Vaporwave mix to set the world right. Today and the future shouldn't include what's in the rear view mirror. Let the past go. Just let it go.
make sure we clean it up first, though? leaving our trash behind isn’t gonna make it disappear - once we’ve freed the earth from the folly of our generation we can move onto bettering the next!
Very nice compilation. Good mix of the game "Shadow of the Beast" on commodore Amiga!
damn this is amazing. saw this in my recommendations for a while and when i finally clicked you reignited the vaporwave spark in my heart
fantastic alternate soundtrack for the aquanet in broken reality
Oh, yeah.
Like, you know.
Adding this to my 'offline playlist"
For sure!
It's just...
certified dread swinger
1:04:47 I don't know how to describe this moment other than rising up to the surface finally to take a breath after drifting underwater for the past few tracks.
this is perfection
Listened to this on mushrooms. The soundtrack enhanced my trip so much, it was beautiful. Thank you

Seems that I start every morning out with these beats lately.
S O A R E R - 永恆的地平線 (1:22:45 )
What a wonderful melody it turned out to be.
So dreamily serene.
A melody that takes you to the wide sandy shores, where the sea whispers to you tenderly and everything is so beautiful!

Hoh, Lotus 🧘🏻 Forever - From the depths
is a cover on Shadow of the Beast (Amiga) ost - Welcome
A pleasant one in fact
this + rain sounds
This is great! Thanks for sharing! Really loving Diskette Park's "Anemone"
The Paradise of Yesterday track "Mermaids" 3:20 sounds like something from Phantasy Star 4, one of the town themes
this thing just impressed me a lot,
vaporwave is fucking NOT dead!
Vaporwave = Resurrection
I continue to listen to this collection and find myself very impressed! Some compositions sound like they shouldn't sound any other way. You listen to them and understand, yes, this is it, this is how a legendary melody should be written, and there are quite a few of them here. Every person who likes this type of music will be impressed, thank you.

Yves Malone is putting out some straight Tetsu Inoue vibes. Actually had to check to make sure I didn't switch over to Tets!
God damn. You never fail to impress, VM. My zero hit and that shit just blew me away like crazy, like damn, I feel so damn calm right now like the world is like a great place and peace is beautiful and stuff, idk it's a hard feeling to describe but getting feelings like that just makes the track even better.
