Hey how do you get cam and crank synchronized if the engine came with timing chains removed. If some one already removed timing chain how to do i install . I know i can bring cylinder one to TDC driver side first cylinder. On passenger side which cylinder should be at TDC.

What happen to short chain in bottom middle ? Why you didn’t adjust that chain ? It has green and brown dots on it. And what type of engine is this ? And what type of car ?
Hey man, is there any way to pull the covers off at the phasers and main timing cover and manually turn the engine several times to see if all these marks all line up correctly or not? Or do you know if the phasers on passenger side can be changed without removing the valve cover?
@@miamiautomobile5566 but I guess the main issue is when I turn the engine I won't really know if the phaser timing mark is in exactly the right place or not unless the cam tool is used to lock the cam in exactly the right spot. There's no marks on the block or anything to make sure the phaser mark is in the right spot....is that correct? The cam in question is the passenger side intake cam.
Weldone Sir thanks for the great work, pls I have a question, am working on 2010 range rover sport with a chalange of a strong tapping sound on it pls what may be the cause.
@@uzoechisamuel access the timing digram then check if the oil is reaching the both side top, or if the timing have jump out of its position due to failure of chain adjuster, then give me feedback after that.
If the chains are the same length, simply put the unmarked chain on top of the marked chain and mark it. It's way more likely to make an error counting links. Just a suggestion.
I count it because if you don't have any chain with same mark, you can as well count the the both and give them mark because they white side always fade up
