This isn't actually a greenscreen, but a very big curved TV screen they stood in front of. They've rented it for the time they shoot their videos. Six videos in two days, so three each. This was the third of the day, and a good thing that it was done last as it became quite messy at some point. Jimmy, who's the videographer for a lot of their videos, it fantastic at his jobs and know the guys very well. I love their chaotic version of this. It makes me laugh every time. I hope you'll do their version of You're A Mean One Mr. Grinch as well. It is absolutely epic. Thanks for the reaction.
They have never taken themselves too seriously! Rob sounded so good toward the with the Motown sound. Chance has really been letting his sense of humor out lately.
Saw them live Friday night in Troy Ohio at the only arena show of this Christmas tour. It was a spectacular performance. They keep finding ways to sound better and better. I’ve been to many HF concerts. This was their best ever! Happy Holidays!
Props to Jimmy Bates for making great videos for HomeFree for a decade. He knows how to wrangle them even when they are filming the 6th video in 2 days. The BTS shows they were all at the studio together for this one, and using a video wall. Not a ‘green screen’ per se, but the same result. The one problem with these videos, is it takes attention away from the vocals. But this track is packed. Happy Christmas.
I think they're giving a nod to the movie Elf. They used the bit with jack-in-the-box and they had lots of sweets. It's been awhile since they've been this goofy. The group has a new energy to them since Bastien joined them. Looking forward to what they do next.
To me it sounds like the old Santa is coming to Town. when I was a kid it would play in the stores while shopping with my folks in downtown Portland with the snow was falling. Awe memories!!
Definitely a Motown vibe, as Adam Bastien (pronounced Bass-TEEN) is from Detroit and is SO good at this style. This was one of my favorites off the album, and the video did not disappoint! Great reaction, so fun!
Me too. Man they are so good but I really enjoy when they can have some fun too. I hope you are gearing up for a great holiday season. It’s coming way to fast for me this year.
@@bobcieslinski Miyako got her Christmas presents and seemed pretty happy. I'll visit her in April. Otherwise I don't do too much on the holidays, maybe take a drive to Arizona, get my lottery tickets, lol.
I agree wholeheartedly Bob. They’re nuts and I love them. They just put out some originals that are wistful and a little sad so this was a nice reprieve. Loved the whipped cream, cookies, skittles, and chocolate sauce. Lots of goofy fun. They might be the elves on the shelf. Tim goes really low in their newest release You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch. Have a very Merry Christmas!!!
This one is hilarious! It’s the first time seeing Bastien’s fun side (he ended up getting syrup in his ear!). You REALLY need to check out their version of You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch!! It is spectacular! It’s all “bassy” too.
Great reaction to this hilarious take! The harmonies, layering and arrangement are so, so good! Plus whenever Gospel Rob makes an appearance I’m here for it! 😊
Adam Bell-Bastien isn't exactly new to Home Free. He was in and out of the group in their very early days (around 2000 to 2003 maybe) covering for someone off schedule. When Home Free won season 4 of the Sing-Off and had to tour under the show's banner Bastien was on of the "B-group" who covered their HF tour dates. Also, he and his husband were members of 7th Ave, the group Chris and his sister Tristin started when he left Home Free in 2016.
I kind of was reminded more of the old ‘I Love Lucy’ episode where she and Ethel couldn’t keep up with the conveyor belt to pack chocolates. This was so much fun and I love the changing styles. I usually try not to mention other groups while commenting on one. However I do hope you will get to Geoff Castellucci’s Christmas song for this year. I really want to hear you break it down. It’s Carol of the Bells, but not as the usual sound of handbells. This one is essentially Carol of the Cathedral Bells from inside the belfry. It feels epic! And I’d like you to tell me what exactly makes it feel so intense. I know it has to do with his particular arrangement, especially the instrumentals. Please consider analyzing it.
I enjoy it for their let-loose, let’s just entertain everyone so they can laugh and enjoy the music. I didn’t have to think about anything but what they were singing and doing. Today I let you hear the chords, the low notes, and the ever-amazing sounds of Adam Rupp. So much fun to watch over and over. Merry Christmas to you, Bob! May you have a peaceful holiday. 🎶 Cyd
Their Latest “YOU’RE A MEAN ONE MR. GRINCH” …. &, of course it’s a Perfect TIM FOUST SONG …He’s Amazingly Too Fun 😋🙃🤪🙃‼️ You’ll Love it Bob ‼️ &, a MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU & YOURS 🎄❄️☃️❄️🎄‼️
Such fun to watch our favorite very tall 5 year olds having fun! By the time they filmed this, they were tired & and a bit slap happy. Seems the more they filmed, the goofier it got. Chance’s ‘egg nog’ cans kept changing in number, they also nearly tipped over a table of packages (nice save, Chance) and at the end, all you could see of Adam #1 were his feet. I wouldn’t want to have been on the cleanup crew! 😅
ruclips.net/video/ZRASrrGRArg/видео.htmlsi=--FNzCptqwAV5ish You’ll like this. Jonathan Waldenfrid (plays with Dirty Loops) on keys. Tobias Grenholm (bass with Jonah Nilsson on Diamond Ring) Simon Liljeblad on drums.

Thanks for the comments and info. I’d love to do that one but not sure I’ll have the time to get it in.
Such adorable goofballs. Just very tall 5-years olds. Very TALENTED 5-year olds.
It’s a good way to be in life. Much more fun.
They have never taken themselves too seriously! Rob sounded so good toward the with the Motown sound. Chance has really been letting his sense of humor out lately.
So good in many ways.

Pretty humorous but as you said, very well put together. You can tell they were having fun! Put a smile on my face!!
