Dumbest thing you could ever do, even as a kid.
27:15 I yelled at my brother for letting the strange man in the house. I knew he was too young to understand, but I yelled at him anyway, overcome with emotions.
I called my parents, and they called the police and headed straight home. Once they were home, they yelled at me for not watching over my brother. They knew I had warded off the intruder, but overcome with emotions, they yelled at me anyway.
When the police came to file their report, they yelled at my parents for leaving their kids alone in the house. They knew it was legal, but overcome with emotions, they yelled at them anyway.
When the cops returned to the station, the DA had some questions about the report they filed, yelling at them for not catching the guy. The DA knew it wasn't possible since he had long fled the scene, but overcome with emotions, he yelled at them anyway. 🙃

Uber and Lyft needs bodycams for everyone. Like after 3 or 5 sales, give everyone the option to wear a bodycam... One with a panic button installed. That way they don't have to stay longer to take the picture.

But this was a pizza delivery and most pizza places have Thier own drivers, but I think having this for all delivery drivers is probably a smart thing.

@@12365elijah i think you are confused. They are technically contractors legally speaking. The difference between contractors and employees is taxes. Lyft drivers are taxed differently

I been in meetings dealing with these topics because I was a gig worker and was elected leader and frankly this is how they think lol I appreciate it brother, but I didn’t need the correction.
I once got a text from this woman who acted like she met me at a bar or something. I told her wrong number and she tried to get me to meet her at her place. I lied and told her no thanks, i have a girlfriend, only because I'm an antisocial hermit, but i didn't really suspect anything. She persisted, and sent nudes till i blocked her. Told the story to a friend who is a cop a few days later and it turned out to be a common tactic for human traffickers

I have gotten new phones with cryptic messages but not. I would be called another name but given a super offer of cash to pick up for a realtor sale. The genders often changed but what stayed the same is the messages and contacts that kept it going. This is why I block phone numbers I do not know anymore. I believe someone was trying to lure me into a dangerous situation with the promise of money and friendship. Thank God for my Social Anxiety… It Saved My Life I’m Sure. 😳
If you're doing a delivery and someone tells you to come inside and set the food down yourself, don't be an idiot 🤦♀️drop it off and leave. Also go to where the GPS tells you, if they say it's an error you tell them sorry but you have to go to the address given.
Delivery jobs are more dangerous than being a cop, don't be stupid and use common sense.
Real. When I DD’d one time this person had texted me and said to open the door on arrival and bring the food to her in the bedroom because she was sick. I just told her no and unassigned

PLEASE, all kids, including teenagers, do NOT tell people you're home alone. Just say, "My uncle's busy at the moment (mentioning one guardian is more believable, and covers if this guy knows your parents aren't home; and if he mentions no cars, just say that you know - he could have been dropped off, biked, etc. Not his business). Can I help you with something?" Get a little annoyed; don't worry about being rude, and DON'T open the door (if you bother answering at all). Tell younger kids to NEVER answer the door or you'll tell on them.

No, it's that parents didn't teach their kids stranger danger, how to dial 911, and how to always listen to your instincts. Best case scenario, you make a mistake and apologize to the person after the police have arrived; worst case, your friends and family find out about your disappearance (or murder) on the evening news or the police have to deliver the news.
Don't be stupid - if it feels wrong, IT's ABSOLUTELY WRONG!

that second story about delivering an $80 order to a rich neighbourhood. That garage delivery was so just him high in his parents garage and having the munchies. But him walking away from the bag of food actually had me laughing, he’s so high.
yeh h ordered food to my friends house 3 days ago cause we were high af so when the uber person got there we just stared at him for 2 minutes then went back inside and forgot about the food then we went out there 20 minutes later and got the food

The weird thing is, the MJV video you were watching in the video that I was watching, was of me watching the video that you were in. 🙃

@@dinarusso3320 honestly, these stories have me yelling the same thing - why haven't you called 911 yet? Why in the world would you think this was something normal? Unless you know someone is scheduled to come to your home/someone's home, you NEVER let a stranger in! If you don't recognize someone at the door, pretend you're not home! And there is no reason people should be coming to your door at midnight, 1 am unless you're a drug dealer.
At 38:00 that story is ridiculous. The baby sitter should be sued for not leaving the house wtf she had no right to call the cops on the dad who was either trying to bring home a date or was smelling like weed and didn't want to be judged.

I came here looking for somebody to comment on this one.
he may have had evil intent that night to harm his own daughter. plan maybe being having babysitter leave after a reasonable time he gets home and harms daughter and can now frame the babysitter saying she left early and he arrived to his daughter in whatever condition. thats just my theory. but nothing happens because babysitter trusted her gut and called police.
that or her phone was tapped.
@@zayndot7288 I was looking for someone to comment on this story, as it made no sense to me for the dad to want to harm his daughter and not doing so at any random time. Your suggestion he might want to frame the babysitter makes perfect sense! Had he played it well, she might have even been framed as the girl's killer. Thanks!
@Co19801003 No, if a killer/abuser wanted to frame someone against their victim, they wouldn't show up so much later than the intended time meant to be framing them.
The fact that he showed up so much later after 10:00 meant (1st of all) that his scapegoat, the babysitter would be out of the time window after the abuse would have occurred. Why lie about the time in the first place if he's just going to have to lie and say it was her at home committing the crime after 10 instead of him? Why not just lie to the cops only once, and tell them she was in charge of the kid until 10:30?
Secondly, the fact that he showed up much later than 10:00 means he was securing for himself an alibi. He was distancing himself from the crime as much as possible, and implicating her as the one who left the kid alone.
This points to the crime not being committed directly by him, and to the plan being a kidnapping of the kid by some 3rd party accomplice of his; He was selling his daughter to child traffickers for money, and claiming when he "got home after 10", that his daughter was already long gone, he himself having intentionally left a long enough time for his accomplice to commit the kidnapping alone.
The babysitter remained in the house, the kidnapper saw that they were not given the house all to themselves, the father was called by the babysitter and told she wss still babysitting, the father knew the kidnapping was being botched by this (fumbled), he got upset at the babysitter and then insisted on her leaving the baby alone in the house, hoping that the crime could still be conducted.
Sooo good, creepy though because they are very possible of happening to anyone! Last night I fell asleep listening to these while it was raining heavy and you better believe I made sure all my windows and doors were locked lol

My bro and I are 8 years apart in age. Even when he was a kid he always made time for whatever I wanted to do. He even played dress up with me when I was little. Even as we both adults now. He always makes time for me. I love my bro and what he has been through alone and what we had went through when we was young. He is my hero. He always had my back. And even been in jail due to guys either hurting me or at some points for threatening me.

The babysitter was being framed by the dad as someone who the cops would see as an accomplice, likely in the crime of the planned kidnapping of Alyssa.
The dad knows that the agreement for the babysitter to leave earlier than 10pm was verbal and not recorded. This makes the babysitter the prime suspect in the kidnapping, as the cops would know that she was the one who left baby Alyssa alone.
The dad was planning to have an accomplice of his kidnap Alyssa after the babysitter had already left.
He was planning to distance himself from this crime (and give his 3rd party accomplice enough time to break-in and get away with kidnapping his daughter)
by planning his own return home way, way after 10pm, when his daughter was already long gone, so it can be proven that he was nowhere near the crime when it happened. That was his "alibi."
The 3rd party kidnappers, however, saw that the house was not vacant after 10pm, the babysitter still there, and so they ditched the crime.
When the concerned babysitter stayed after 10pm and called the dad to tell him this, he knew his crime was being foiled, and angry about this, he tried to get her to leave so that the kidnappers would have the house alone to commit the crime.
That's why he was shocked she was still there and said, "I'm waiting for you to leave!"
Because the babysitter did not leave Alyssa alone that night, the dad had no scapegoat to blame the kidnapping on, and the kidnappers had no anonymity to roam around the house alone, so the crime was botched.

agreed. For some reasons, people are extremely lax at this thing called "consequences". A 6 year old is capable of knowing 1. their parents' names, 2. their home address, 3. how to dial 911, and 4. how to not open the door to strangers. This isn't "scaring" kids - it's making them responsible and aware of their surroundings so they DON'T become the next Amber Hagerman or Adam Walsh or Steven Staynor.

When someone is clearly trying to get you to go somewhere private, especially if they ignore the food you delivered, you have a responsibility to call the police. Otherwise someone else's blood will be partially on you.

The uber driver shouldn't have ignored the second time that $80 delivery came up...if he was wondering what happened to who ever took the delivery he should have done something...he should have went and posted up and watched the shed...that way if anything did happen he could call the cops and interrupt what was going to happen if something was happening

Like the guy trying to “kidnap” the two boys was just a babysitter, but he got the wrong house. The “landlord” with a hammer was just trying to fix something in the house and didn’t want to waste his time having to come back. How many of them are just homeless people squatting in the basement?
34:16 - I don't think Alyssa's "Dad" IS her dad. Typical cops were too lazy or stupid to realize that they should be checking this out. I would have questioned the "daughter". I realize that a teenager is too young to realize this, but I would insist the police check this out, and I would have also gotten their names and followed up. I'd bet money that is NOT Alyssa's father.
