The man in the Vesna story is a coward. It's called a wellness check. You can call the police non emergency and request a wellness check, the police will stop by and see what's up especially if you have regular interactions with a person.

My instinct has never been wrong. It doesn't always speak up, but when it does, it's never wrong. Not one time. I went against my instinct once and it was a big mistake. Later on, I was wrongfully arrested for aggravated assault. I have never had a criminal record, and I don't have one now.
I was offered a few deals and the person I was dating said that I was a fool not to accept the last ones, but I had a feeling that it was the last gasp of a dying man. I was right. The charges were FINALLY dropped.

ALL of these are just incidences where someone just ignored their common sense. Uber request to deliver in the middle of the street? Sure! Doesn't seem strange at all. Stranger pounding on the door? Let's engage in conversation!
This case is ESPECIALLY just dumb shit - you have delivered to this lady for weeks, months, to the point that you know who their family members are and what her schedule is and the moment something feels off, you do....nothing!
The guy literally drove around the block and at no point did he call 911 during this time and then did...NOTHING! "I didn't want to bother the police" THIS IS THEIR JOB!! If they don't do their job, then that's THEIR ASSES; their motto is on their f*ckin' patrol cars!
@@LoverBoyWalker The first 48 hours are the most crucial when it comes to a crime. The lady went missing the day AFTER she ordered groceries, meaning the delivery driver was there, at the scene, and could've helped the lady OR if beyond help, could've caught and arrested the perpetraitor.
Instead, he most likely let an old woman die through foul play and allowed a killer to go free and most likely, go and commit other crimes.
This is exactly why you need weapons in your house.

HOWEVER in order for them to do that, the person calling needs to have common sense, like locking the door and either hiding somewhere safe or leaving the environment period.

I love you stories bro, even tho they're submitted and you narrate them, I truly do. Now speaking on the grocery delivery driver and Vesna smh.. he should be very ashamed for at least a decade if not forever. All he had to do was either go check on her or call the police. You know some of the robbery stories could have been avoided by turning on lights or even yelling for them to leave some of them it wouldnt help but in a big portion of them they are there to steal and not harm you so letting them know your there would make them run most the time stop hiding unless they are already inside stop using your freaking bed and closet everyone checks there try finding a room with a ground window of a window safe to jump from and get help dont stay in the house i dont answer doors for strangers i talk through the window next to my door and have a weapon close in case

@@EditorOfSLIt’s not hard to be wise during, either. In the 2nd story, the guy saw the thief leaving his neighbors yard after the large dog started barking. Then, someone starts knocking on his back door at midnight. Instead of going and flipping on a back porch light and calling the police, he sat there because his video game was more important. You don’t have to be a super bad killer in these situations, but a little common sense and being proactive could’ve avoided the situation entirely. This guy was cruising for unoccupied homes, and just turning on a light or yelling that you’ve got a gun (even if you don’t) is enough to scare home invaders away 9 times out of 10.

The story about thomas and the bag is so obvious to me but i could be wrong but as a former h/f addict I would say he bought bad drugs hence why he called back the guy and made him come back to show him the shit and get money back, or the guy sold him something he did not want.

Well, english is not my native language and I can tell, that these videos really helped me with english. Because I can clearly understand 99%-100% of what he is saying. He has a very clear pronunciation compared to our audio textbooks.
