I clicked on this wanting to hear some good ghost stories, but ended up listening to the whole thing. It's not the dead you need to fear, but the living. Good set of stories.
Just like the show "The Walking Dead." The real monsters aren't the zombies.

people that say what you just said have a small imagination. yet you still say what we can think or do is the darkest thing. you have no idea of the unknown. nobody does. you can grasp the fear you feel for what a person can come to do. you can't even think of the darkest most painful, disturbing, sanity breaking things possible. be happy you cant.

I just ate some fries from mcdonalds, what was I even watching?
For those who feel as if they're being stalked:
1. Change your schedule frequently, NEVER have the same schedule until they leave you alone.
2. If they are making a move and trying to hurt you, always have a defense item. Anything can be a defense item but make sure it's either sharp, ridged, blunt, or something you can spray into their eyes.
3. Keep your doors and windows locked at all times. If that doesn't work, see #4.
4. Install a camera system. If you can get a license plate, a face, etc, the police can identify your stalker.
5. Think about moving houses or states. It may sound like a lot of money, but if you can afford it, it's worth it.
Or you can become proficient with your 2A rights, carry always and live your life without the fear of others controlling your future.

Had an attempted break in at my mothers house a few weeks ago, little did the man doing it know that myself and my brother were inside too, this wasnt a quiet break in, it was more, a nut case has just escaped the mental asylum type break in, he was booting the door etc... my mothers neighbours obviously heard this going on. My brother and i were ready, waiting for him to either get in, or for him to turn around, he turned around and we flew the door open and had him... Ironically, as soon as we opened the door my mothers neighbour was outside running towards him too, ready to deal him some damage. The man was cut off from both ways and safe to say he wont be back again.
Its good to know my mother has a neighbour willing to help out if needed. Had my brother and i not been there, i dont know what would have happened. But grateful for the help that was available.
I think my reason for writing this is, check up on your mothers, fathers and older family members regularly. This was a horror story within itself because had he got inside and we werent there, i dread to think what he would have done.
He sounds like a crazy person/dangerous, usually a thief tries to be discreet or quiet with no one home 😢😢 glad you guys were home.
Hope that didn't shake your mama up too bad. But real good to know she has good neighbors.

Hearing some of these stories from teenagers in the workforce bother me. If you see someone scoping out your business or following you or looking in your car do not hesitate to call 911. Sounds like more than a few of these could have led to a fatality if the purp hadn’t changed their mind.

I really love when creators who share multiple stories in a video have timestamps for each separate story (i.e. Loey lane, Emily D Baker etc.)

Whenever you feel in danger, before you call the cops be sure and call Tim first. The lack of attention to detail in these "true" stories is astounding. Further, no one else seems to notice it.
911 won't get off the phone with you until emergency services show up either, and if you hang up they will try calling to get back on the line with you. Really threw off my immersion

It’s called the Bystander Effect. Everyone watching thinks that someone else will intervene or call the police, so no one does anything at all. It’s why you can never 100% count on strangers to save you, and why you should only rely upon yourself to get out of situations like this.
The stories were all genuinely disturbing up until the end, then I just giggled.

The girl that worked at Target and was lured into shipping was a total idiot. "nobody could hear me scream" yeah, well, you have a literal walky talky that you could use to alert the entire store that you needed help. How are some people such easy prey? I'm disabled and could not run or fight off an attacker, but at least I have a brain. And I pack heat. This type of thing will never happen to this old lady!

Absolutely right, and good for you. Don’t ever let some animal make you a victim without a fight that makes them remember you. Using a few brain cells would negate most of these stories in the first place. I understand that every so often, there’s nothing you can do to avoid bad situations completely. But, quite often, good situational awareness can get you out of them before they even happen. A story I saw out of the UK is a perfect example. Security footage showed a naked man, covered in blood, just walking up and down a street and stabbing anybody who got near him. Another random guy turned the corner on the opposite end with his head buried in his phone, paying zero attention to his surroundings. If he’d just glanced up once, he’d have seen what was happening and could’ve avoided it. But, he just walked on towards the guy, and ended up getting stabbed 8 times before a taxi stopped, let him in, and drove him to the hospital. Some people are just born perpetual victims, I guess.

The fact that you are "an ole lady"(like me🤭) means you have way more experience, knowledge and wisdom. This young lady was put in a pretty much "isolated incident" by a more skilled criminal aaanndd overall, I think she did pretty good cause I woulda hollered, QUIT and ran out the store🏃🏾♀️🤣

The scariest thing about these is just how few of these people called the cops to prevent their would-be attackers from getting other victims later. That's so effed up.
The stories are fake, I looked up a few of them that would be likely to have records online and I can't find anything. There might be a few stories that are real but without any evidence of any of them being true, I have to assume they're all fake.

@@GodHandFemtoThe last 3 stories I’ve heard - Guy went hiking then got lost and seen someone hiding behind a tree, teenagers went into an abandoned house and someone was hiding from them, guy goes into an old mine and comes across two creepy looking people and he freaks out. Stuff like this happens every day.
Fake or not, there really are people who are idiots who don't know to dial 911 in time for the bad guys to be caught.
I think the first story was the scariest because like I mean, like in the road at night, and the guys faces are creepy

scariest thing to happen to me at work so far was just taking an order for someone who immediately made chills go down my spine... He didn't do anything, just scared me for some reason. It was something about his eyes
Had a customer like that when I worked at blockbuster. He gave me the jeebies the first time I saw him. He ended up being a weirdo who would rent all the porno movies before we got rid of them.
