What an awesome trip. I watched several videos you uploaded and can't get enough of them. You both have nice voices which add to the video. I feel very relaxed watching and listening to you. I bet most of us would like to be on your boat and have these memories - more and more of them.
delightful. your accents and to the point brevity make these videos remind me of old fashioned travelogues from the sixties which were always so very nice and enlightening. happy sailing
Just discovered your channel and have started binge watching past episodes. Your videos are beautiful, expertly edited, interesting, nicely paced and informative. Your video image quality is excellent, obviously taken with a high-end camera by two talented videographers. You appear to be a perfect couple for this adventure with a broad range of required skills and calm, positive attitudes, even when faced with adversity. I lived aboard a boat in Southern California for four years in my 20's, and now I'm vicariously enjoying an unrealized dream through yours and similar RUclips channels. Thanks so much for doing these. Keep up the great work!
You're so lucky to visit those wonderful islands. I'm so old that when I visited Tahiti the first time in 1966, there was no international airport. You will enjoy Moorea and Bora Bora and can't wait for your videos.
I have really been enjoying following along on your adventure. Tahiti looks Amazing! Especially like your videos of your travels on land and under the sea.
I bought my boat last year and head off on our adventure later this year. Great videos and looks like you are having an amazing time. You should consider a technical video. Sat coms/ set up onboard planning etc. It’s great to see this info as well as picture postcard views! Safe landfalls!!
The best video I like it in blue everything you good taste for the colors guys. I watching this video five times well done , many thanks. Warm greetings from super paradise island of Kauai. I am living here Always welcome to Kauai island.
Another comment - OK I Just now finished watching all your videos. They are oh so excellent - The content, video quality, great audio and excellent narration by you both. You are the best I'm my book but again I must say that couples are so often trying to make money while traveling the seas and you have a great source at your fingerttips if you'd make more timely videos (I know it's lots of work) and sign up with Patreon! You will be oh so popular and if you'd do so I'll be your first contributor. Finally this video was published in mid January. I want more! Thanks Much, Melvin
Just discovered your video, well done👌.I'm from Tahiti"tuamotu's island of kaukura but live in Florida. That 🔥🔥🔥dancer was so amazing.thank you😀🐠🐬🌺🌴🌞🌊☔
I too just discovered your videos and love them. Been traveling from my recliner watching sailing vlogs for a good time and yours are one of the top 5 Sailing Vlogs in my book and in the company of La Vagabond - Really! I have two questions please. With your amount of views how much are you making monthly or per video from RUclips? And why on earth have you resisted Patreon? I for one would love to chip in a small monthly amount! And I'm sure you will earn a nice extra amount that way. And finally will be a new video soon as you've been a while since posting a new one. Thanks Much, Melvin from Texas USA
Beautiful camera shot thank you hope you keep chasing the smiles they are in front of u guys. Thank you for sharing ...you guys must get on face book will help to get y,all out
just binge watched from the start. ive watched them all sv delos vagabond uma white spot pirates etc and youre up there should be receiving much more subscribers and sponsors etc.
You timed that really well, to arrive on Bastille day celebrations. How many weeks in advance had you planned that.? I suppose the weather is equal, year round - probably only a dry season and a wet season.?
I like your videos. The underwater ones are great. Could you tell me what model sailboat you have with the skeg mounted rudder? I'm looking for a used sailboat to cruise with.
Florence is an Oyster Heritage 37. 35 of them were built in the UK. More info on our blog here sailwiththeflo.wordpress.com/florence/ She is a great boat and we love her.
Just started watching your vids. They are fantastic. Question?? If you were there for bastille day , its the 14th of july. Is that not winter in the south pasific???. That did not look like winter to me.😊
Hi John, Winter is the time to be there, Summer is cyclone season so we headed down to New Zealand for that. Close to the equator winter is not cold! We have not seen cold winter weather for over 3 years now. :-)
@@SailingYachtFlorence thanks for the reply. I live in dublin and you guys really take me away from dank weather we have here as im sure you know only too well. Great vids and great sailing.👍👍
Hi Fredrick, We're all good, thanks for your concern. Just way way way behind on video editing! Currently in Fiji having a great time. :-) Might be a while before we find fast enough internet to upload more videos though. We keep the blog www.sailwiththeflo.wordpress.com and our facebook page a little more up to date. M&A
@@SailingYachtFlorence I only discovered you in Cape Town this year as mentioned previously, and have only JUST discovered your blogs!! They are what I've been searching for, because although I very much enjoy the sailing videos, I miss hearing your more in-depth thoughts about the places you visit. You also write so WELL! Is that you Amy? There's an art to storytelling, and I Really appreciate the good grammar! Wish I was on insta and other platforms (esp Patreon, so I could get more in depth info about your trips) but I haven't been very clever about money in my life it appears, and am paying the consequences! But small pleasures keep me going - one of them being your videos and blogs. I'm so grateful for them. Thank you so much for all your hard work. I know it's very time consuming. I press the like button and watch all the ads, so hopefully that helps! Catching up now on a couple hundred videos! Can't wait for NZ South Island. If I ever left Cape Town (which I won't - I love it too much, even with its problems) NZ is where I'd head next! Looking forward to your visit in this part of the world though. Pity it's now so commercialised. Tahiti is just so beautiful. That fire guy was amazing, as was the boulder lifting (so strong!) And the coconut climbing trees. I've watched novices try and climb those trees. Two steps up and they're down! Long post sorry! But great episode thx🤗 PS you two looked famished. Bet you put your groceries on Tahiti to good use pretty soon!
Sailing to Tahiti! All is exactly as I PLAN!
These early videos are shot enough to watch several in a row…!!! 😎🥳. Good show. 👍👏✅

1.-mangoes
2.-maidens
3.-paradise
4.-a godamn plan
We found the boat! This is plan is going well! Off to Tahiti where we can do some mangrove harvesting!

WE. are going to sail. To TAHITI.
You timed that really well, to arrive on Bastille day celebrations.
How many weeks in advance had you planned that.?
I suppose the weather is equal, year round - probably only a dry season and a wet season.?
We were aiming for Bastille day from months out but ended up having to sail in very light winds to get there in time. Worth it though :-)
