Great Breakdown Arsenalty. I was surprised you didn't mention how Jin being saved by the devil in the start is actually a reverse of Unknown's ending in Tag 2 where Unknown is saved by Angel and becomes Jun again.
Also, I don't know if I'm the only one, but in the first scene, you can hear a slight sound that reminds me of What You Will See, Jun's Theme from TTT2.

I am really hyped for Tekken 8 which will finally make sense for my next-gen console. As a fan of the saga and knowing that there are still at least 9 months left from the release, I think they have given us enough information. I loved seeing the new legacy character designs and stages but especially Jun's return, for now, I am satisfied
Very interesting thing to me is that we have seen that healing light Jun does to Jin before: Asuka's ending in Tekken 5. She touches Jin and seems to suppress his Devil Gene and turns him back to normal. Given that both Asuka and now Jun have that when coming into contact with Jin, it seems the female Kazamas may possess an "antidote" power to the Devil Gene.
From the aggressive nature of the gameplay, Lars isn’t even gonna need buffs - being the aggressive character that he is, and with the heat system, it’s gonna be a field day for Lars players.
Also other aggressive characters too

They could be going back to T3's design as Devil being a misty etherial entity when not inhabiting a human's physical body

I think Jun used her powers to give Jin more control of the devil gene power where she passed on her special ability/power he would use to cleanse or subjugate the devil gene within him and anyone else.
Though after Jin took on Kazuya as seen in the trailer where they fought in the city, Jin in his subconscious mind is greeted by his inner self (Devil Jin) who probably either:
1. convinces Jin to give in to the devil gene power (to where Jin rejects and decides to use it in his own way)
or
2. convinces Jin that the devil gene isn't bad and to not be a coward/afraid to use it (to where Jin realizes this and uses it in his own way while utilizing the power he got from his mother)
That is when we see Jin and Kazuya face off at the volcano as Jin uses his devil gene powers on Kazuya, what happens after that, we don't know.

Maybe the orange glow of kazeya is supposed to tell the player there plus on block. We might be getting a lot of visual indicators. To help people to read is this move safe are they plus or minus.
Like how guilty gear strive as big text saying counter we get it in colours and animation.
I hope it can be disabled though if so. I wouldn't want it too easy
I was thinking about that before the trailer dropped. I don't want to be looking at spreadsheets to learn tekken and neither do my friends, so having that kind of visual information will help more people (and my friends) to get into tekken
That's a really good guess! For me when Harada mentioned aggression is the main key I assume that there's going to be a guard crush introduced similar to SC6. They might explain it in depth at the TWT North American (December 11)

At first, the trailer had me worried due in part to having waited so long during the awards to see it, but after some time, I'm warming up to it. I thought for a sec we were going to get 2d mechanics like cancels, but it looks like the mechanic of pushback from a heavy attack is showing its true colors, as instead of just pushing back your opponent, you're also dashing into them for a forced mix-up as you said.
The game is going to feel a lot more desperate than the previous title. I can't wait to see Bryan Fury in this game, I think this agressive playstyle will fit him perfectly.
Think about Heihachi or Steve with this mechanic. Or Kazuya in good hands.
@@Riko_KP Kazuya's while standing 1+2 causes the pushback mechanic to occur, so if my theory's right, you could do while standing 1+2 into a forced mixup on your opponent, having reset the fight into neutral.
Isn't it crazy that Arsenalty have to be the professiohnal one when it comes to reviewing tekken 8 trailers so far.
