It's refreshing to see a face to the voice of the theme song of "Reading Rainbow". I adored this lady's voice as a child. It was warm, bright and beautiful. GOD bless you, Tina Fabrique.
I was not yet a teenager when I first heard the "Reading Rainbow" theme song and when I first watched "Reading Rainbow" with my sisters and cousins during one of our summer vacations in Massachusetts.

No matter how many times I hear the intro to this show,a wave of nostalgia hits me and takes me back to when I was child watching it during the early 90s. Ghostwriter, Wishbone, Shining Time Station, The Magic School Bus...man I miss those days.

Here voice is the stepping stones of my Childhood I grew up in a very tough neighborhood but my Grandmother and Great Aunt would allow all us kids in the Neighborhood to come inside (Black, White Mexican and Asian) and all watched Reading Rainbow together, it was our getaway. I’m 45 and her voice and that song brings back so many memories positive and safe memories. THANK YOU MISS TINA♥️💯🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

I learned a lot from The Reading Rainbow as a child in the 80's. It was my favorite and only program I tuned into on WQED 13. May The Most High bless everyone involved in the Indigenous network including the singer of the song. 🙏🏿
I'm a Canadian, and as a black kid growing up, this show with Levar as a black host was so important to me. Not to mention the theme song this woman sang. She is a legend. Iconic programming 👌

This was my childhood. I can remember parents purchasing books based on the shows recommendations. Its fun at 44 years of age that I can look back on those times. Its also sad that a lot of people in this country still cannot read. 😔

Loved Reading Rainbow growing up, & it gave me a true appreciation for books & reading!! I still love to read!! My late mother was a wonderful woman, who inspired my imagination & creativity, & she always made sure I got to see Reading Rainbow, & would even watch it with me. It's nice to be able to put a face to the beautiful voice that played an important part in my childhood! Reading Rainbow was & still is so important, to those of us who, like me, grew up with it, & it desperately needs to be brought back for today's youths!! Thank you mom, Levar, & Tina!!! R.I.P. mom!

I love, love, love the Reading Rainbow theme song. It's the soundtrack of my childhood. I was 10 years old in 1983. I recently found myself singing the song in a pre K classroom I was assigned to. This generation will never know how blessed we were to have songs and themes that taught us to be well rounded individuals. Good memories

Ms Tina is a breath of fresh air. I feel like CH is always fishing for drama so the can clickbait the title with some of the questions they ask guests. Thank God this lady didn't say anything negative about her compensation and didn't make it an issue so that the title isn't "Reading Rainbow singer says she was underpaid".
