When The Haunted and Dolving was at their prime it was truly the apex of aggressive metal. The lyrics, the riffs, the vocals everything was just all out attack.
Didn't expect you to react to this one, what a pleasant surprise! Always loved The Haunted, especially this song!
My favorite will always be “Three Times” or “Hate Song”.

The Haunted were formed by members from At the Gates. One of the original Gothenburg sound bands together with bands like In Flames and Dark Tranquillity. The original members were Anders and Jonas Björler, Peter Dolving, Adrian Erlandsson and Patrik Jensen. Both of the Björler brothers and Erlandsson were members of At the Gates. Dolving was the singer of swedish hardcore band Mary Beats Jane. Great band too.

I saw The Haunted a couple of times live back around 2004 and they are excellent Swedish death metal. They were on tour with Damageplan and Shadows Fall back in 2004 and I saw them in Ft Worth, Tx about a week before Dimebag’s death. They have had several lineups with Ola England currently playing lead guitar with them. Check out more from them.

Saw them a lot around the same time. Bumped into Jensen in a gaming store in Oxford Circus right before a gig once, got a pic and had a good chat with him. Then bumped into him before they came on, in the pit of his own show, while he was watching God Forbid warm up for them! Memories!

Ohmygoodness, this takes me back. The Haunted were one of my favorite bands in highschool and I used to call them a "shitkicker band" because my friends and I would get some vodka, start a mosh pit in the basement and hardcore dance/kick the shit out of each other. I was super happy when their song "D.O.A" was on the first Rockband game.
Used to blast this on my iPod back in high school. Haven't heard this song in years! This got me on a huge nostalgia kick of metal and hardcore from my teenage years.

Such a pivotal and underrated band. Hugely influential. More Haunted please! These and Soilwork kept me going through the 2000’s.

Ok, I have been watching reaction videos for years. Just found you guys after a Tool compilation vid.
This is one of my all time favourite bands. You HAVE to do more! With this same front man (Peter Dolving). If you could react to some from The Dead Eye album? The Failure is a nice easing in, then go with The Flood, The Medication, and maybe The Drowning...
That album, along with Deloused In The Comatorium by The Mars Volta, is an album I will listen to back to front for the rest of my life.

Every album is a story. My personal favourite is One Kill Wonder, about the Black Darlia Murderer.
Another great song is Hate Song of the self titled album, the song that got me into this band. The Haunted have not done a single bad song or album since their formation and are still going strong.
The Haunted!!!! Fucking brilliant band. Check out anything from their album One Kill Wonder. Different vocalist but one of their best albums. The song Shithead is just awesome!
Their whole approach to genre on this album (Revolver) and the ones around it are really interesting. they’re like a grunge/hardcore/thrash/groove metal band. I’ll send you another one from this album that shows the other end of the spectrum 🖤🤘🏻

One thing I always loved about the lead singer was his lyrics. As a Swede, his grasp of the English language and his vocabulary are honestly mind-blowing. Peter Dolving is a legend! The Dead Eye is the shit!
