      To bad tekken 8 ruined the gameplay with scrubby heat mechanics and a weak roster .

    Wanna know why Thai boxing is called "The Art of Eight Limbs"? Wanna know what other martial arts also has the "Art of Eight Limbs" philosophy? Bajiquan.
    However, no one knows how Muay Thai got its form and same goes to Bajiquan but what was known is that Bajiquan was at least linked back to the 1700s and was documented to be created by someone called Wu Zhong who was from Hubei. Some even said that the art was already around during the 1500s when it was recorded in a book by Qi Jiguang who was a Ming dynasty heroic general and martial artist.
    Then as it progressed with time, Li Shuwen became it's top practitioner and he became the grandmaster after he fought his way around to Beijing/Peking and gained notoriety in his ruthlessness and lethality with his strikes on the battle stage thus he became the martial arts trainer to the Qing imperial guards and even trained Puyi's bodyguard with his style and his other students all became bodyguards or special agents to either Mao Zedong or the KMT themselves once the Qing dynasty fell thus Bajiquan became known as "The Bodyguard Style".
    Baji also uses joints as it's main striking factor that they'll often use their elbows and knees as either killing blows or defense breakers whereas their shins and forearm are used as defense. High kicks and sweeping head strikes with their legs are often seen too thru Bajiquan guidelines thus in a roundabout way, it's also known as the "Art of the Eight Limbs".
    Muay Thai however had an even worse documentation about the art form as no one really knew when it began forming. Some said it was discovered in the 18th century, some said the 20th century and till this date, it cannot be solidified but if you look into it, it's fighting style is 70% the same as Bajiquan abeit way more agile in some sense.
    It could also be said that since Bajiquan was said to be originated from Southern China, it was somehow leaked thru the borders into Siam by whatever reasons and ways and thus it became what it was when the Thai picked it up thus the same style of fighting for both and how ironic that both are called the "Art of Eight Limbs".

      @Hnter2200 Месяц назад +1

      @@grimmashley8422 so I did a more research into the Metadata of this video than I feel I needed to, but Yeah. This Video has always said “(Best Hits)” from what I can tell… HOWEVER, they named the video in the exact same fashion as the rest in this series, including naming franchises in the title…. And then putting (Best Hits) at the tail end. And to top that off, did ZERO introduction card or anything to preface the type of video it was at the start. With that in mind I believe it’s still on them for being misleading through malice, or sheer stupidity.
      As I mentioned in a comment of mine before, they shouldn’t have edited a half-assed compilation…. People really enjoy long form compilation content to throw on while doing things. This feels egregious to me in particular, because this is to definitely cash in on Tekken 8, because long time fans of this video series have been waiting for that brand new video eagerly.

    Tekken seems like a broken fighting game. Shots that are miles away somehow land, and there seems to be zero regard for models clipping into themselves and everything else. Fun, but very hard to critique on nearly any level.
