But now i think it is the 6th underground lvl in nazarick because in the tome 15 when the narrator present us the evolution of this area under the direction of aura, we learned that there is a village of human there. I may be wrong, but in my opinion they are in nazarick.

One thing to consider about the mind control: Wouldn't it have been useless agains Downfall of Castle and Country? And Ainz knew that his enemies had an item that he couldn't counter even with Wish upon a Star. So why should he trust Hilma just because of Mind Control? Depending on the game the caster can feel whether a spell was successful or not, maybe it's that? Or Ainz was just happy to use it as an excuse to calm down the Guardians and put more weight behind his own theory.
It's probably the feeling of a spell taking effect, as clearly mentioned in the 14th vol in the light novel, spellcasters can "feel" the damage being dealt to the target

If they could tell damage dealt, then Ainz bluff when fighting Shalltear would be pointless, unless he also controls how much damage is detected by attackers via false data life. Targets can feel mind control taking effect. When Shaltear was hit by Castle & Country she could feel it bypassing her natural immunity to mind control, giving her enough time to kill the caster before they could give Shaltear any orders.

To me this is one massive social expirement on what happens when some people are sent to tough survival situations.

It seems to me it was clear that they are not the heroes of the human race. Then, what do you think humans do with other races?

This was the case when Hilma was able to actually empathize with others who have gone through similar suffering as herself. Due to this torturous turn of event that had happen to her alongside them, she now sees her fellow Eight Fingers executives as no longer rivals or potential enemies. Rather, she considers her colleagues as actual comrades and friends in arms instead of rivals, leading Hilma to become much less brutal, manipulative, and cruel to her subordinates.
