I so admire her! She is very genuine. She seems to take care not to use the attitude of "I live my life this way and so should everyone else". When asked, she presents the way she lives as an insight on her choice to do that. But she remains clear that this works for her, and in no way is she trying to force her beliefs on others. I agree with the readers who stated that she is so wise and grounded. I love listening to her thoughts. Thank you, Mayim. Your humbleness is a great life lesson.
I'm a Mayim fan so obviously I enjoyed the subject matter. But I also wanted to compliment the host on a great interview with a nice range of questions to showcase a variety of topics.
Stephanie Perla that's exactly what I was thinking as the interview developed I like how she (interviewer) allowed her to talk and didn't ask stupid non sense questions
We'd have to crosscheck if her beliefs and concepts are actually for the US economy, defense and other stuff. Would she be better than Hillary or even Trump? Theoretically.
I wish they'd let her stop the interview for a minute to get a pin or something - I know Mayim is pretty modest in her dress so I imagine having to worry about 'showing cleavage' was probably driving her nuts the whole time.
I agree with you. But then if they'd done that, I wouldn't have taken notice of her modesty and we wouldn't be having this conversation. There is a lot about Mayim to be admired. She's every girl and unique all at the same time. She seems to accept everyone and yet has that inner strength to maintain her values. Personally, that makes me feel stronger.
Loved this so much! I've been watching her RUclips channel for awhile and she is awe inspiring! Such a bright and clear view of life that is so refreshing! Great episode!
Okay so I am in love with Mayim after this video but can I just say that Kirbie is an amazing host? She has done all her research and her questions are always so relevant to the guests that she has on her show. I totally respect that!
Kirbie did an amazing job! Really good questions and she actually gives a chance to answer :) I'm just so tired of hosts that interrupt and make jokes all the time :) Mayim is a real role model, we need more celebrities like that :)
My favorite part of the interview was how many times Mayim kept adjusting the neckline of her dress. I am not happy that she felt uncomfortable but that she wanted to be modest. One of the many reasons I really admire her.
I love this interview! The interviewer clearly did her research and the questions are so good and relevant. Mayim of course is really smart and eloquent! I love how she handles all her interviews ❤️
I am very envious of the ladies on this thread! I want a book like this for the guys in the audience. I would also like a book explaining her views on science and spirituality!
Having Ms. Mayim Bialik on your channel made me subscribe. She is wonderful....level headed...I am not near her level of education but I understand what she says. She makes sense! Mayim for President!! 💖
I loved the interview, she is a great inspiration for all the women, I wish I had a book like that in my puberty, I can´t wait to buying it, thanks Mayim for all your effort every day!
Honestly as a woman who plans to work in the academic field, the struggle of when to get kids is real. I guess it's hard for all women in all branches but I'm really desperate right now. I'm 23 y.o. and I don't feel ready for kids and don't want to just now but I should get them now so that they're old enough for the nursery or Kindergarten when I start my PhD... what should I do? :(
I liked her comments about science and religion; I've seen the video they reference here. People in my tradition (Episcopalian) also do not have a problem with science and religion and they believe they can co-exist harmoniously.
I also think it would be really fun and educational to call Ruth Connell from Supernatural for a chat about nerd culture, the Sci-Fi/Fantasy world, representation of strong female characters and changing attitudes towards female villains in such genre television and cinema, the fandom of Supernatural and the power it has to change the world completely and her views on how important family is and what the definition of a true family is according to the show and the dysfunctional dynamics of her character Rowena with her family and other characters surrounding her and how the whole experience of playing the witch has changed her.
why is it when there is a substantive, important video on RUclips there is that video/sound dissociation thing going on? the lips don't move with the video, Uggggh! it's so distracting! I just LOVE Mayim you are so empowering!!!
I HAVE YOUR BOOK!!! MY MOM ORDERED IT LAST WEDNESDAY MAY 10 2017!!! IM ABOUT TO START READING IT SOON!!! P.S. MY MOM IS FOLLOWING YOUR FACEBOOK PAGE!!!! I 💖 YOU!!!!
WHO STYLED HER?! she seems so uncomfortable in that dress as it keeps moving on her. She does not feel comfortable showing more skin in this clip. As a stylist its so frustrating when other stylists do not "feel out" their clients and their needs!! PopSugar #CallMe #ErikAce
I think we definitely need a Priyanka Chopra from Quantico interview with you about misconceived perception about feminism, how sexism affects men too, diversity in Hollywood, education for all, and how the west views the east and Indian culture and cinema.
Why is Neuroscience important? The most complex structure in the universe is the three pound mass of cells within your skull called the brain. The brain consists of about 100 billion neurons, which is about the same number as all the stars in our Milky Way galaxy and the number of galaxies in the known universe. It also contains about a trillion glial cells, which contribute to the proper function of neurons. Like any complex machine, the brain contains a lot of parts, each of which has subparts, which themselves have subparts, all the way down to the “nuts and bolts” - the neurons and glia. In this Cheat Sheet, you find information on the key parts of the brain and the role and function of the cells that make up the nervous system. Good Luck MAyim BialiK.
Not really, sinlobo84. A "late bloomer is a person whose talents or capabilities are not visible to others until later than usual." (Wikipedia) For example, I didn't start my undergraduate education until I was 25 years old. Normally, kids start university at 18. I was a late bloomer.
sinlobo84 late bloomer has two meanings. In this video, it means someone who develops socially at a slower rate. It means becoming adept at presenting yourself as an adult, dating, having sex, having a social life outside of family, etc are a little later than normal. The second meaning is the physical changes in the body, puberty, is later than normal. But that was not the intended meaning in this video.
When she was interviewed on the HOWARD STERN SHOW and asked when she lost her VIRGINITY(which I feel is the RUDEST question you can ask a person) she sort of evaded the question by not giving a specific age but that she had a boyfriend in college.
Jia Hui L. does her voice sound pretentious to you because she is verbally astute and well-spoken? different people have different skill levels when it comes to verbal expression. The fact that you hear her voice and think "pretentious" only shows that you believe "people who talk smart are rubbing it in how dumb everyone else is" when in fact they are just talking how they talk. and what do you mean "trendy?" if more women are choosing to speak confidently and not downplay their intellect, bring on the hot trend!
One of the things I like about the Dr. Mayim Bialik is the way she explains things in a simple way to understand and with intelligence.
Mayim is a TRUE role model tbh

Agree 100%

She's an absolute inspiration.
Now this is a Woman that is worthy and qualified to be the first female President !!
Mayim could be the perfect female President!
We'd have to crosscheck if her beliefs and concepts are actually for the US economy, defense and other stuff. Would she be better than Hillary or even Trump? Theoretically.
Mayim is... just.. so wise.
And I love how she adjusts her blouse (we've all been there) and she's just so real. She's sincere and modest. Just a wonderful person to listen to.
I wish they'd let her stop the interview for a minute to get a pin or something - I know Mayim is pretty modest in her dress so I imagine having to worry about 'showing cleavage' was probably driving her nuts the whole time.

I just LOVE how "down to earth" Mayim is!!!!!

WOW! I really admire Mayim Bialik for being both sexy and smart! She has the most unique qualities that I found very interesting in her.

She needed a lacy red cami to cover the cleavage area. She was probably trying to be nice and let them pick for her.
bravo!!
I hope you say yes to marrying Sheldon. I will be upset if you don't.
I think we definitely need a Priyanka Chopra from Quantico interview with you about misconceived perception about feminism, how sexism affects men too, diversity in Hollywood, education for all, and how the west views the east and Indian culture and cinema.
When will the Bella Twins interview be uploaded?
Today, then lol. Thanks for adding it!

Good Luck MAyim BialiK.
English is not my first language, is "a late bloomer" a girl who first got her period later than usual, ir is it about losing her virginity???

Mayim's pretentious voice 😂 how trendy

and what do you mean "trendy?" if more women are choosing to speak confidently and not downplay their intellect, bring on the hot trend!
I'm referring specifically to 5:35
Jia Hui L. oh, I gotcha. unfortunately there are plenty of people who would mean what I thought you meant.
Let me know what is your favorite part of this video haha how self absorbed
she is muslim..??????
No, she's Jewish!
She is Mayim Bialik.A nice person.
Of all the things, you asked this question which is absolutely irrelevant. That's SO sad.
