Thanks for this video. Just a tip I discovered as I was working through it. Work out how many lines you want and put them in - don't worry about spaciing. Then select them, and go to the position menu . I get two options - arrange and layers. Go to arrange and there is an option to space evenly vertically :)
Thanks Bree… that’s what I did years ago with Photoshop, an entire ream printed, both sides. This is a great refresher, as I’m almost out of lined paper for all my books/journals.
I came across you today, after having a very frustrating experience using Canva yesterday to create a sheet of different kinds of sentiments spaced equally that I want to create. Thank you SO MUCH for this as it will help me immensely! ☺☺☺
Thank you. I did mine the lazy old fashioned way. I found lined paper I liked. Cut them to size and glued them to each side of the page. Then photo copied.
Thank you! So helpful! I've been wrestling with my printer / paying graphic designers / wrestling with the prints from graphic designers having not straight lines, it's an absolute nightmare as I need mine vertically printed for my notebooks I make. I found that you can select a thin horizontal line, then flip it with the rotating symbol, and then press Ctrl C and Ctrl.
sorry: my comment sent before I finished it. Then Ctrl V. I'll see how my printer does with this but this is a great start. I like using canva and never thought this to be possible. Cheers!
Great jumping off point into canva. I’ve always wanted to get onto there and see what all the hub-bub is about. Your friend is blessed to be gifted with a journal made by you 💖
Fantastic, thank you x I'm interested in making lines with homemade stamps or 'rubbings' for a really earthy look x much love and God Bless from the UK xx
I used Excel to make lined paper. I can adjust the columns and rows to the exact width and height I need, and then turn on the grid lines on the top and bottom of each row. I have also used Excel to create black and white grid paper for collage.

That sounds fantastic!
Good to know. What printer would u recommend for home use? Primarily used for printing paper for journals. Thanks for Sharing❣
I'm using a basic HP DeskJet. It doesn't print high quality, but it gets the job done.
Journal / notebook same. Or botebook lines different ?

I’ll have to give that a try!
