This and xflight are the smoothest rollercoasters in the park easily.

B&M’s are smooth as peanut butter.
I've been on this ride so many times. But that first drop still gets me nervous and gives me crazy butterflies! Its terrifying, thrilling and so smooth! Its great to cause no matter what seat you're in, front back middle, on the edges, it hits just the same. I love keeping my arms up the whole time! This ride is like pure ecstasy. Six Flags Great America has a lot of awesome roller coasters, but Raging Bull will always be my favorite.
My favorite is the good old American Eagle. Can't go wrong with an Iron Wolf or a Shockwave either. Too bad those jabroni's took those rides out, at least American Eagle is still there, the grand daddy of them all.

Except from my experience the back gives A TON more airtime.

I was terrified of coasters as a kid. always chickened out and did the "walk through of shame" and just waited for my family after. I just could never get over my fear.
One day my best friend (no longer with us) and his friend, all 3 of us just decided to get over our fear and go to great america and just go on every single ride there. For some reason we decided to start with raging bull, front row, first coaster ever, deathly afraid.... I nearly died of terror on the climb. But I don't think I have ever had that much fun the rest of my life. What a smooth awesome ride. Front row isn't actually scary, it's smooth and exciting. So glad I did that.
I’ve done that walk of shame before, it was on Goliath. But then I was forced on this ride, and it’s one of my favorites

My favorite coaster there BY FAR. The first drop is amazing and the ride is so smooth. The track twists and turns making for a really fun ride

The eagle is way more terrifying simply because you think it's going to fall apart every time you ride it.

Because it’s wood made. I suggest viper more than American Eagle. Viper has more drops but is less terrifying.

Dont get me wrong. This is a great roller coaster. Not too rough. It's really smooth. It's really fast and that first drop gets my adrenaline going
This is one of the best rides there!.. everytime we go we have to ride it.. this past Tuesday we rode it when we first got to park and last as park was closing..I love riding when it's dark out so much fun!

I love and hate this ride because the restraints don't feel tight for me, and it goes down all the way
Yeah the ride is great some people complain about the restraints i always try to push my body out so when they push down on them it doesnt go all the way, it makes my body float around a little more 😂🤣

Best ride ever in my opinion. No corkscrews or loops, just pure speed and it feels like it's turned up to level 11 the entire time. Just a violently fast but incredibly smooth ride. It's pure speed I love it. Such a smooth ride too.
You should venture to Cincy. If you like this one you’d love Diamondback.

This ride is amazing, especially if you ride in the last row... the g force and airtime are far more intense from the back.

I think the climb on this coaster is so intense because it seems really shallow for how tall the coaster is. No wonder it’s almost a minute to climb. I’ve seen coasters smaller than the raging bull with a steeper climb.
I never went on this ride because I was too scared but now I'm definitely going on it as soon as six flags opens again.
I chickened out going on it, I was in the line and decided I didn’t want to ride it after seeing the first drop

I rode this as the first coaster of the day some 12 years ago or so, when my family took a trip up and made a pit stop here one day. Was terrified before going on I did not expect to have that intense of a stomach feeling/drop sensation as I did on this ride--crazy airtime on every hill, will never forget that!

That little area right when ride first starts where you take super small drop before you go all the way up is oddly so cool and satisfying!
It was closed for maintenance the day I went apparently it got stuck on the hill.

My number one tip is if you are riding on it with friends always point out other rides and stuff and just overall talk it really helps at the winch up. That’s what I did and it really helps a lot
this was my first big roller coaster. was at the park with my dad bc I won 2 free tickets for reading books. I was gonna do a gentler one first but there was practically no line so I just jumped right in. epic coaster

This is my favorite coaster at Great America! If I could, I would ride it all day and not get tired of it
Looking at this coaster I would surprisingly give it the edge over Goliath & Titan because it has more air time Hills and sharper bank turns them both. This just goes to show despite the height being shorter then both is still irrelevant to the impact of the ride. This one is definitely a top10 B&M coaster.
My favorite rollercoaster after they got rid of the shockwave (rip😞). I remember my first time going up that ramp, it felt like forever and then getting teased with that dip. But yo! Once we dropped, I lost it and the 2nd and 3rd drop was just as crazy as the first. Still an awesome ride, especially at night.

Went on this today with my sister and a friend - easily everyone's favorite coaster in the park, and the best part is that everyone riding with us was loving it as much as we were. We ended the ride clapping and cheering so loud even the staff were joining in and laughing with us!

Y’all, I just went on it. All these people in the comments are exaggerating this- it’s more fun than scary, the drops are awesome (especially the first, but It was uncomfortable because I literally put my legs under the seat a bit to give me some stability) but we had a great view of the six flags and the ride up was rather relaxing- the seats where very comfortable and the ride itself was very smooth, like X flight smooth, which is why it got into my good books, because the smoother the ride the better. My mouth was definitely dry when I got off and I just couldn’t stop laughing from how terrified I was. 10/10

5 years ago today, I went on this for the first time!
But recently, I took on another Steel Hyper Coaster in Ohio known as the Diamondback!
I went on this TWICE today and the first time when we did the drop my lungs littrely burst and I screamed so loud, and when we go off, My friends dad said "it sounded like you where having a conversation with your self" Lmao 🤣
Whenever I went on it it felt like it was taking its sweet precious time reaching the top

The thing that scares me about this ride is when you drop the only thing that’s carrying you is the chest part it’s like your flying from your seat

The flying out of your seat feeling is called “airtime” and it is very fun. The “chest part” is called a lap bar, and it is perfectly safe.

This coaster got me over my fear of big drops because that first drop is sooooooo long! I realized the best way to endure and enjoy a drop is to actually put your hands as high up as you can and yell all the way down! Holding onto your bar for dear life makes it 10x worse. I actually enjoy drops now :)

I don’t know why but this is the scariest first drop I have ever been on. I’ve been to cedar point, a bunch of different six flags around the US and many other amusement parks. This first drop has always stuck with me for some reason
