This new tool is simultaneous the coolest thing I've seen in a long time and the weirdest/rogue UI scheme I've seen...ever. I mean zbrush isn't known for a sleek ui, but this sets a new bar of confusing and unecessary to what is otherwise an amazing and deep feature-rich tool.
shift+s just stores a snapshot of your object onto your canvas, like saving 2D picture of it; you can hit control + n to clear your canvas once you're done doing snapshots.
