Watched this one as a kid before I ever saw the first 2 films. It's not the best, but still a fun film. A few things done differently would've made it better. I still prefer III over II.
It's certainly not a patch on the original and I would say it's pretty good in terms of action. Some parts of it are uneven. The goofy chop shop dancing is out of place and irritating, and the lack of Bogomil and Taggart is disappointing. However, the main characters are likeable and Ellis Dewald is a good slimy villain. The scene where Axel confronts him at the awards ceremony is great. It's a still MUCH better as a sequel than the 2007 and 2013 Die Hard 'sequels' were, and the terrible 2008 and 2019 Rambo 'sequels'.
I don’t care about what people say!!!! I love Beverly Hills cop 3 !!!!!! It’s pretty great and funny !! I love the 3 movies equally!!! This movie is nice !!! I do not understand the hate !!!

Funny to see this now. It os well known by now that eddy was in some sort of mental depression. All his movies in 90ties bombed, he also lost that spark he had in thr 80ties. Guy was also having personal issues with exes.. Choices people make..
Eddie Murphy is a legend in acting history. I miss the 80s and 90s cop comedies.

Outside of a couple scenes Beverly Hills Cop 3 was horrible…I’m really looking forward to part 4 it looks very good
