How do you play apple music through your system?
Plug your Iphone into USB and use Apple Carplay i guess.
Hi Brian
Have you found a command to accept an incoming call
Hi James, not yet. Will have a dig.
The button to accept an incoming call is right next to the voice command button, why would you not just press that one 😅
Can you use commands like, volume to 75%, turn on heated seats, turn on heated steering wheel etc?
Heated Seats are covered in a previous video if you subscribe or click on my channel and click videos tab you will see them all.I don’t think volume works as you already have those controls on steering wheel.
I tried to "open charge door" but got told "im sorry but I can't do that in this car".
Tha’s annoying.Where in the world are you?
@@evodessey I'm in New Zealand. I have a base trim model. I also don't see the blue blob when you short press the speak button on the steering wheel. That button only works when I have my phone plugged in with Android Auto.
It did feel rather reminiscent of listen to HAL when the computer told me it can't open that door haha
@@johnnzperplexed2741 Seems like an old head version of the head unit software.Do you know what version you are on?
@@evodessey I'm not sure but I have heard an update should allow for wide screen Android auto? So probably you're right that I likely have an older version. The dealer didn't update it during it's first 1500km service check but sounds like quite easy job to do by oneself?
@@johnnzperplexed2741 Yes it’s quite easy to do.There is a June update available for NZ cars. You will need at least a 64Gb flash drive & a PC or Mac to download it.update.kia.com/NZ/EN/updateNoticeView/833/pop2. update.kia.com is where to download from
