I think this is a solid video covering a good bit of the basic fundamentals of fingertip bowling. Could definitely be useful for beginner and intermediate bowlers that may have developed bad habits and need a refresh and starting point in finding areas of their game to polish up.

Thanks for the video. Question for you, when coming up to the line and before release what is your thoughts on the left or balance arm pointing at the target and moving out during release?

Thank you for your concern for my video. I think answer for your question is different between man and woman. In man, the muscles from thorax to arm are developed well compared with woman. So, if he do not pointing at the target with the left or balance arm before release, he can not do higher back swing with the muscle interruption and shoulder joint inflexibility (especially in old man). However. the muscle from thorax to arm in woman are less developed compared with man. So, without pointing at the target with the left or balance arm before release, she can do higer back swing. The video in the next answer may show my explanation. Pointing at the target with the left or balance arm before release could cause unstable shot. However, pro man bowler have no problem with much exercise. In amateur man bowler, however, woman style swing is recommended, even though back swing become lower

@@dr.body1959 thanks for the explanation Dr. I’m a 54 year old man that’s played competitive sports all my life and have found the body just can’t do what it used to. Bowling checks a lot of the boxes off for my competitive nature. I’ve only been bowling for 3 years and now I’m stuck at the 170-175 average and very inconsistent so I’m trying just to get a clean simple approach and release and build off of that. Appreciate the time and answer you gave me.
