These guys are tight as hell. Im old enough to have witnessed the real Sabbath Tjese guys do have their own sound. Listen to the drum and bass parts closely. The drummer fills differently than Ward and the bass player clutches different ly than Butler does. Bass plsyer is one of the best around right now. Lead Singer is tremendous one of the best ive.heard in a good long time
Sounds like a mix of Dio and the singer of Coheed and Cambria with vocal voicings as Ozzy would have done it. He has a good voice, especially by stoner/Doom band standards, but hardly the best around...

No, I don't restrict myself. I'm also a fan of the older folk bands, bluegrass country, hard and psychedelic rock, progressive rock, and various other groups. As for the misogyny, no. That's no more discriminatory than saying the word dick. It's a vulgar slang term for the female genitalia, much as cock and dick are for the male one. What I meant when I said golden age, was the golden age for this strain of metal. Regardless of all, I'd take a thousand of these bands rather than today's music. Additionally, they named themselves after a Black Sabbath song of the same name (functioned as the intro to Lord Of This World) and have based themselves on the sludgy doom rock/proto-doom metal foundation that the godfathers laid down. You may think your hardcore punk band is original, but without Black Sabbath creating screeching vocals, and heavy, guitar driven songs, the other Orchid wouldn't be anywhere special. As for concerns of masculinity, I have no need to fear. This is the postergenre for maleness. And I only said anything about masculinity once. You'd be wise to learn to read, and abandon that Doctor Phil bullcrap. Point being, this band mimics a sound that is it's own genre. Let's put this in your terms. You saying this band sounds like countless others is like me saying that Pierce the Veil and Sleeping With Sirens sound the same. Just because they incorporate some of the same themes doesn't make them the same. This applies here. Of course it sounds similar to other bands, it's in the same genre! And why would you come to watch this video if all you were gonna do was bitch and moan in the comments like a little baby with a bellyache? I've seen more self control in a sugar rushing toddler than what there is here. You mask your true intent with woven words and redirected, exaggerated versions of previous statements.
