Having gotten in the habit of ordering puzzles (as well as many other things) online since the pandemic, your videos in this shopping series are a refreshing reminder of the wonderful puzzles that can be discovered at competitive prices in local stores. Thank you.
You are very welcome! Online shopping is great, and is how I do most of my everyday shopping. But there's something about puzzles that I have to be at a store and hold the box in my hand. I don't know, it's a whole thing/experience for me, I can't explain it 😅
So glad you got the Cosy Porch and Snow White puzzles.....2 of the prettiest puzzles on show. Having coffee on the porch and putting together a fairy tale jigsaw.......what a great combo 🙂 Sounds like the movie Inception lol
I would love to see a comparison of brands when you’ve finished puzzling a lot of those. It’s so hard to gauge piece quality without buying actual puzzles, so I often just stick with Ravensburger, but I’d like to branch out!
You are so welcome! Glad you tagged along for the trip 🤗 With some brands, sometimes eBay and Amazon are the only option, but it’s certainly more fun to shop in person.
i’m so glad that you got to use your youtube money on puzzles!! that makes me really happy the viewer and and creator are both getting something out of watching youtube videos☺️ I also went to hobby lobby during their sale and got a Galison, Aquarius and a crown point graphics brand puzzle!! I would like to see u do a video on that galison and brain tree puzzle. I was actually debating to get that Galison puzzle you got at hobby lobby but decided to get another one. I’m really excited to do the puzzles i got and i hope u enjoy doing the puzzles you got too!!
Shopping is soo much fun, especially when there are really good sales happening. I actually have an Aquarius set in my collection that I still haven't worked on yet. I've heard a lot of mixed reviews about the quality, but it's a Harry Potter puzzle, so I'm sure I'll still enjoy piecing the image together. I'm looking forward to my Crown Point Graphics puzzle, but that sky keeps scaring me away LOL. Don't worry, I work on a the Galison and Brain Tree puzzle for videos! I have so many brands to work on, but's it's so hard to plan which order to do them in 😂 Again, thanks to you and everyone here for making all this possible!
Your Hobby Lobby is fierce. Mine, not so much. But I did buy the Randall Spangler ‘Cat on the Bookshelves at my Hobby Lobby and worked it up about a year and a half ago. I also picked up Wild Circus by Braintree not too long ago. I have enjoyed your two part shopping trip and look forward to watching you work some of them up. I have a few Michael Storrings on Galison but not the one you just bought. It’s beautiful…would love to see you do it!!!
I can't wait to work on all my new puzzles! I actually just started on one of them from Barnes & Nobles, and I must say, so far I'm really loving it. I also need to work on other puzzles that have been waiting for me in my collection, I have so many😅 Happy to hear you enjoyed the two part series. Might be something I do more of in the future for my big shopping days.
The Hobby Lobby 40% off puzzles is every other week - they have a sale on the yarn (30% off) at the same time - so I always come home with some of each.
Is it really that often?! I didn't know that, thank you for telling me this 💸💸💸💸My sister collects yarn for all her crochet work and is always in Hobby Lobby. I'm going to complain to her that she never told me this 🤣
Another fun shopping trip. I am glad you picked up a Galison this time. I really like Galison. Especially the 500 piece puzzles. I am fond of the slightly larger pieces on any puzzle brand. Nice choices Mandy 🥰🧩
Me too! I can't wait to work on it, it's such a beautiful image. Speaking of larger pieces, I'm still beating myself over not buying the 300 count XL Eurographics set. Must pick it up on my next trip.
Great haul, Mandy! This past week Hobby Lobby had 40% off and I picked up four puzzles. “My” store didn’t have Spring on Park Avenue or I would have purchased it. Such a pretty image. I did get the hot air balloon puzzle you already had. I agree, the sky is a little intimidating, but the image is so beautiful. I just knew you were going to get “Cozy Porch”. It’s so you!!😂 the only thing that would make it better is if the game board on the table was a jigsaw puzzle. I can’t believe you’ve never watched The Office. It’s one of the few shows that makes me laugh out loud. Try to DVR it from the beginning so you can watch the characters develop. Season one is a little different, but hang in there. It’s worth it. Happy puzzling!!
I think Hobby Lobby has one of the best puzzle sales out there. I haven't found a better deal than that anywhere else. This was a different location from my other HL shopping videos, and the selection can greatly vary. Wish it was more consistent throughout all locations, but still it's better than most stores. Now that you mention it, I really need to get working on that hot air balloon puzzle. I bought it ages ago and it's been sat catching dust LOL. I just gotta get the courage to sort that image out. I'm very picky when it comes to shows in general, but if it makes you LOL then I'll plan to check it out 😉
Great puzzle haul. I worked the Cozy Porch puzzle from Braintree 2 months ago. It was a busy image, but fun. I purchased at Hobby Lobby 40% sale also and it was my first Braintree brand. I thought quality was good and loved the zip lock bag bonus.
Thank you for sharing! Hearing that you had a good experience is getting me excited to try it out soon. It's such an adventure trying out different brands 🤗
Such a fun haul! I just picked up the Dracula one after it has been tempting me for MONTHS at Barnes & Noble and I have had my eye on the Evil Queen puzzle as well :D Idk if you're a fan of, but the company that produces the Dracula puzzle also recently came out with the Great Gatsby puzzle--I convinced my brother's wife to get it and we spent the day yesterday putting it together. I love how something as simple as puzzles can bring people together ♥ cheers!
That Dracula puzzle has been tempting me so much that I've decided to work on it already 😂hoping to start it tomorrow! I wonder how often they come out with new puzzles, Great Gatsby sounds awesome. I'm a loner puzzler at home, no one wants to join me LOL. You're lucky to have others who like to puzzle alongside you 🤗
Nice finds!! I just recently tried Brain Tree and loved them! I have done Eurographics and Galison and enjoyed those as well. You have several hours of enjoyment! Thank you for sharing!
Awesome! Thank you for sharing your experience 🤗 Now I'm super looking forward to trying out all these brands! I got a lot of puzzle time ahead of me lol.
Loved your choices, never done any of this brands. I just bought a bunch of new to me brands (they are used) and still very expensive, I'm hoping i like them. And loved your videos keep up.
@@lilimaciell Of those you got, I did try Schmidt and loved it. But you've listed a number of brands that I have yet to try! Now I'm going to add them to my list, thank you!
Yes, you're right! I did see on Schmidts German site and I got sad LOL. I wish there was a store near me that sold Schmidts, but online seems to be my only option so far.
Perhaps the reason Brain Tree can provide additional niceties in their puzzle sets is because they have been known to "mimic" puzzle artist's images, alterating them a bit and then calling them their own (no compensation to the original artist). Apparently (according to one immensely popular puzzle artist) it's not entirely illegal but certainly is shady. Compare the one you have to White Mountain's Autumn Porch by artist Joelle McIntyre and you'll understand immediately. I won't buy Brain Tree or Huadada for that reason. PS: I love that you were able to get all those puzzles because of RUclips viewers and A Thousand Times Thankful and Grateful for you too!
This is very interesting. And now that I think of it, it's probably why the are also inexpensive. I have a Huadada that I bought awhile back, and that was really cheap too. It's crazy how that's not illegal. It's not fair to the actual artist. P.S. I'll say it again, thank you and everyone here for making this possible😁
If it’s one I don’t intend to work on again, I put it in a donation pile. But most of puzzles are ones that I really love and connect with, so most of them stay in my collection. Sometimes I’ll display them too.
So much fun joining you on your puzzle shopping trips! I also have Galison’s Spring on Park Avenue and Ceaco’s The Evil Queen waiting in my “to-do” pile. Please be mindful of purchasing puzzles from Brain Tree, though. They are known to steal and slightly alter images from artists and market them as their own. For example, the circus image is copied and altered from artist Aimee Stewart.
Thank you for tagging along for my shopping trip! I love sharing these with everyone, and they are fun to edit (makes me feel like I'm shopping again LOL) Oh wow, I had no idea that Brain Tree copies images. No wonder they are inexpensive. Thank you for sharing that info!

That's a good idea. I've been trying to figure out what other brands I can do comparisons with, but there are so many I have no idea where to start.
Thank you for these shopping videos. I never know where to buy puzzles so then I overpay for them on ebay and Amazon.

it makes me really happy that you got these with your youtube revenue!
I couldn't do any of this without everyone. I can't express enough how much I appreciate all of you 🤗🤗🤗
saw a few of mine in there ("Flashback Yard Sale", "Barn Dance") :) but most notably I'm stunned that you've never seen The Office!
🤣You're the second or third person to say that about The Office. Now I really have to check it out!

Nice puzzle haul. Last week I was in a Cruise in Norway. There they had also 40 % Rabatt in every puzzle....I bought a Lot of puzzles there 😂
Oh wow, that's awesome! And the cruise itself sounds like it was amazing too. It's been years since my last cruise, and now I want to book one 😂
I love Galison puzzles and have done the New York one. I absolutely loved it.
Ooo now I really can't wait to try out my Galison set!
Love it!
Keep Sharing the content we love going along with you 🧩
Thank you! Will do!
I Always Do My Borders First, If there's a lot of Sky I turn it over to do, Then turn in back around & do the Remaining Pieces!!!!
I like to start off with the borders too. Sky sections can be super tricky, but turning it over sounds like a great way to tackle it. 🧩
Looking forward to the Cozy Porch. Never tried that brand.
I'm looking forward to it too! It looks like it's going to be a challenge because the image is so busy, but I'm also very curious about the quality.
I have the Brain Tree circus one but haven’t done it yet! Also purchased from Hobby Lobby.
I hope Hobby Lobby will put out more images from Brain Tree. Wish they had more than three or so images, but maybe next time!
