Eastfield Mall Demo Report #24 (23 Feb 2024)

At this point, the Eastfield Mall building is completely gone. Only remnants of the slab remains. So not much to see other than where things used to be.
NOTE: this will be the final drone video of the mall demo. The owners have stated that they do not want drones flying into the site from now on. I will comply with their direction.

Loved the original Dream Machine at the Eastfield Mall. Best arcade ever.

I have heard rumors that there is a basement under the old sears building. There doesn’t seem to be much information online about it. Would anyone be able to fill me in?

There absolutely is a basement in Sears. There is a a ramp in back that trucks would back trailers down to unload merchandise. There were also offices down there as well. Several people have commented that they worked in the basement section.
