mind you mark had a single day to film this music video in between concert dates/flights and general schedules, he made this absolute masterpiece in a SINGLE. DAY. from sunrise to sunset all to tell fans that no matter what they do, they will always be themselves and nobody can do it better than they can. he’s amazing inside and out, and even went live thirty minutes prior to the release of the song (3:30 AM CST) just to personally name and thank every single person who worked on it with him, and then thanked fans. he even spoiled the narration part for us THREE TIMES after saying it was his favorite part. he works so hard day in and day out for us and i’m so glad everybody loves this song as much as i do. nobody does mark lee like mark lee does.
It was such an amazing mix (he changed up his flow so many times) and all felt so..... Mark! Both witty and playful while also thoughtful and serious. I had a huge grin on my face the whole time. Love how he took his history and meme with eggs and layered in his love of taking photographs of the sky as well as this confidence that seems to be dripping from him lately. All while thinking seriously about who he is and what he can do. Love!!
