Dude PvP is AWESOME. The potential for hallucinations, warp-ins, mothership recalls, blah blah is still untapped. I hope some young buck watching Skillous now comes and smashes the current meta. Unpredictability, inscrutability and mind games all the way. Its PROTOSS.

I always liked the idea of hallucinated observers with a bink attack. Not being able to spot or kill the phoenix could be a huge deal.
G1 : well, seems like protosses can only build cannons in their opponent's base. 2-3 canons would have solved the harrass on probes

I know this is an old game at this point, but to pile on to Winter's "mirror match" discussion near the end - the best TvT I've ever seen is still one that TotalBiscuit did for one of his home grown tourneys. This is out of 1000's if not more games that exist out there (many I've watched ofc). I've even seen TvT's on this channel that aren't that good (Winter only gives us the best and even *those* aren't quite the same).
That said, I love me some mirror matches occasionally (especially this one, wowza!).
Skillous has been my favorite ever since he stomped on Scarlet during nation wars, as a relative unknown. Such solid fundamentals, just wish he had an opportunity to train with the Koreans.
Mirror matchups just alienates 2/3s of the viewers but we're just hear to listen whatever words that would come out of your mouth
Im a Terran and I love Z and P mirrors. Its like a totally different game I do not understand.
Less than that, Zerg is my main but I still enjoy watching TvT PvP and TvP. I’m sure I’m not the only one, right?

I love how that stasis ward in the first game decided the whole game. Stasis if used properly is insanely strong, but often people just somewhat discard it, similarly to contaminate on the overseer. Should that ability ever get used properly (by people other than serral too, funnily), it will most likely be nerfed very quickly.
Winter, before it needed 3 banes on all upgrades to kill a sentry, now it takes 5-6, depending on upgrades. That's not quite "one more baneling" xD

Krystianer threw that first game. As soon as Skillous committed to the phoenix's if he had just went across the map and killed him he woulda won. He went all the way across, canceled two of his expansions, all he had to do was push into the natural but he went back home to chase the prism and phoenix's giving him valuable time to build up immortals... i kept screaming at my screen "JUST GO KILL HIM, STOP CHASING THE PRISM AND PHOENIX's!!!" so frustrating that my monitor cannot time travel the words back to him, someone needs to make that capability happen.
Not necessarily. Phoenixes could've lifted the immortals of krystianer so that the stalkers all die to skillouses immortals.

That last game has that “well, ghosts feel OP as shit” feel… EMP taking out shields is something a 2/3rds not-Protoss balance council would let slide right by.
Clem is better than Skillous. Significantly better. Like, he should almost never lose a game against Skillous better. So maybe stop bitching and enjoy the game.
The last game is just "Oh a fight! Oh, toss dies... how novel". At moments like those toss armies feel more zerg than the zerg. Like with how quickly it was just dead P really should've been able to rebuilt it immediately or smth.
Im more surprised by the first fight where he took down clems' third. That was really good.

Skillous isn't even top 20.
The difference in skill and APM is huge.
Nothing to do with imbalance. One of them is just far far better.
To be fair to mirror match-ups, I like TvT. It's only really PvP that gets boring in my view, at least ZvZ is fast-paced mostly. PvP just often feels like whoever happens to have the best death-ball wins, especially if they use the same composition. It's also not that much fun when the winner is decided by who waltzes into a stasis trap first.
Cast more mirror matchups, especially PvP.
