I thought MaxPax must just be a top-tier ladder player who never participated in tournaments, but apparently there are enough online tournaments where he's remained anonymous that he's been able to make 120.000 dollars on them.
The only thing I actually learned from reading any of this is that he's Danish, which means I will now root for him in every game. Unless Polt comes back.

I really think Phoenixes deserve a buff... They're such cool units but they just die the moment an enemy can actually hit them. They can obviously kite mutas and corruptors, but they seem so useless against vikings or any ground unit that can shoot up.

Stalker are Nerazhim (dark templar), they do not follow!
He probably got confused with Dragoons
@@danielguerra2204 I think stalkers are still Nerazhim who have been injured, though. Unlike the Dragoons where you can have somebody's severed head controlling it, I think the Stalker is like a body suit with replacement limbs. You can see the Protoss controller's head poking out the front of it when you zoom in.
@@Sorenzo The stalker is actually a fully robotic body for a fallen Nerazim, they fully transfer the spirit over to the new body.

I know nobody asked and it's definitely a different kind of rts but whenever i see upgrades competing in an sc2 match i think about the fact that i love upgrades in wc3. The scaling for upgrades especially on higher tier units is just so much more satisfying. Like defense on aboms knights tauren.. it goes up to like 60% dmg reduction if you ignore dmg and armor types. Closest thing to that in sc2 is ultras and basically only that effective against marines and lings and with the extra ultra specific armor upgrade

God I hate ghosts. EMP is such a busted ability. Better than storm.
Problem is, at a high enough level storm looks more like a zoning tool rather than a murder tool like EMP is

Why do we rarely see Void Rays anymore?
It would make a lot of sense if we needed stronger strategems to beat the higher difficulties and the stronger strategems were achieved by leveling up. Teams should have to coordinate strategems to solve the higher level difficulties together. Instead every high level player brings air strike orbital laser auto cannon scorcher to every automaton helldive because its the most effective load out

He never really played I'm smaller tournaments but that is more so true now that he is doing his mandatory military service

09:49 when a zealot is slain its soul can be transferred into an immortal, but for stalkers it is slain dark templars that get transferred to the robot. Also when a ghost dies, its psi-powers gets transferred to a psiclone, hence the name.

Can someone explain the meaning of the meme where there is a zelot, warpgate and cybercore facing a demon on fire? I think I'm missing some context here.
Protoss walls (mainly used against Zerg) often consist of the initial Gateway and Cyber Core, with a Zealot (or occasionally an Adept) being put on hold position to plug the small gap between them.
