Nice stuff. Gave me a few ideas for my 300L Surprised u don’t have folding mirrors tho. I got some adv double take mirrors straight away. And find them very useful. (Som Very narrow runs in Cornwall... also I load it into my van sometimes so one less thing to remove to fit it in... just fold em down)
Nice video and thanks for the inspiration! I have been looking for a windscreen just like that, can you please provide a link from where I can purchase it? Thanks and good luck!
I've been following you guys for a while mainly just for the cool content, I have just acquired a 250 Rally with no idea what I'm gonna do with it yet. I'm 6'6 and 17 stone, it has hyperpro springs which helps with saggy rear. But can't wait to get out on it and have a play
Nice video - I was just on a 1000km in the swedish forrests and was plesantly surprised how well replacing my tankbag for the Acerbis handlebar bag (manubag) was - total freedom of movement, much easier install as well as removing when I needed to refuel. Would say that your rear bags seems to sit really high compared to the enduristan bags (they are smaller though so you need a duffelbag - but still I would say all in all a lower solution) (more expensive as well. But still not the most expensive solution out there. Was also my first off-road trip on the trackers, they were nice, especially at 14psi. (Do you have rimlocks btw) And did you ever consider mounting extra lighting? And a Katadyne waterfilter/flask really helps with water. I only bring the water in my hydrationbladder as I usually end up camping by a lake and just filter that water. Cheers! 🤗
Hey, no rimlocks, we don't run them any lower than 20 psi, they seem to do great at that pressure. The bag sits high, but is very spacious as a result 👊🏻😎
I've seen that you are traveling to Spain. I live in Madrid and I also ride an crf250rally. I enjoy alto your channel so if you need info for some top tracks trought pyrenies or trought Teruel and Cuenca, Just let me know
Thank you for reply bro , i dont want to change stock rear stop light , its nice , may be ill make an custom one with metalsmith , Respect from Turkiye ..
Hi There, Love your videos 🥰 How did you find sheepskin? Did it add some comfort to the seat during the journey? I am using my CRF for longer distance. I am ok with long time in a saddle however lets say Alps are 15 Hours away, I would love to get through as quick as possible 💩 If all positive about it please let me know where did you purchase yours🥰 Thanks for great video, hope I will see both of you soon on the trail❤️
I'm considering buying such a motorcycle and I have a question, how tall are you? I'm 183 cm and I don't know if this motorcycle is a bit small, I'm looking for a light dual-sport motorcycle so that riding standing up wouldn't be tiring.
Nice setup, what are you doing about supporting front of bike if taking front wheel out? I got a trail jack for my rally, perfect for the rear but cant get a stable position for the front, it wants to lift the whole bike...🙈
Hi, accomplishments for posted videos. I have a CRF300L and I am interested in buying a Bagtecs economy bag like the one you have already bought and tried in the field. I ask you: 1) how did it go with the CL62 bag? 2) How quality is enough or is the WP62 bag better? 3) do you think it can also be used for a larger bike with passenger handles (I also have an Africa Twin 1100)? Thanks
Hi, thanks for the comment. We loved the bagtecs, it was ideal for an on snd off road adventure. I can't comment on other bagtecs unfortunately as this is the only one I have used, but this one survived heavy rain (without the cover), sand and a number of falls. Great bag 👌🏻
@@lightweightadv Hi, I bought the bag. I ask you if for the CRF300L it is necessary to have the Adventure Spec Side Luggage Support Rack (to protect the bag from the heat of the muffler) or if it is possible to mount the bag even without it. Thank you
Hey, it's a great bag, you'll like it. It's not essential to have any side racking. Make sure tiu mount the bag just forward enough to miss the very end of the exhaust and you'll be fine 😎👍🏻
How’d the tyres hold up ? I know I should wait for a video but in a bind and need to sort some tyres for a long trip and having issues getting hard wearing road tyres. Did they manage 3000 miles ?
Sorry about the audio, I now have a better mic!
Great idea and volume is this covering music
I did 12k miles on my last trip from ireland to Eastern Turkey. Covering 14 countries
Great going!
Great video thanks! Your voice audio is much quieter than other channels - got my ears blown out when RUclips flipped to the next channel 🤪
Hmm, really 🤔, I'm not sure what I did differently. Thanks for the feedback though, I'll look into it 🙂👍🏻
Safe travels guys look forward to seeing how things work out for you both
Cheers Peter, we'll post an update soon! 👊🏻😎
Looks like a great solution you have chosed

Ah yeah, sounds like you need them! Fingers crossed, I've never broken one, so haven't found a need...yet!
Love it
Thanks 👊🏻😎

@@lightweightadv Thanks! But im even more interested in the lower one with carbon-texture, did you make it yourself? Thank you and drive safe!
Ah, I see! This is just a carbon vinyl overlay! I bought a 1m sheet for £9 and carefully applied it 😎

Cute seat cover 😏😏.
Worked perfectly 👌🏻
@@lightweightadv The seat is hard as a rock ,ouch.

usbsol...Hey mate I'm with you, a molle manbag attached to the bars works well.
Have a link on your skidplate?

Hope this helps 👍🏻
Hello mate have you changed the sprockets?
Nope, completely stock. I tried a 13t fir a while but have since reverted for traveling 👍🏻

What is that windshield extender?
Just a cheap wind deflector from Amazon 👌🏻
@@lightweightadvdo you have a link? Seems like it matches perfectly with the windshield.

Hey, thanks for the message. The sheepskin definitely helped, but it's not perfect. I found mine at a local market 😎👌🏻
What material do u have vovering ur seat?
That's a sheep skin, it makes a difference!

I'm 181, but with long legs. I need bar risers, and a slightly taller screen to be very comfortable on this 👍🏻
For long journey, which one the best side paniers, soft paniers or hard paniers?
Hey Mat, it's honestly a personal preference. We both like soft panniers, they're much tougher and will withstand a good falling off 😎
@@lightweightadv TQ bro for good opinion and suggestions..👍👍

Hey Matthew, just a trail jack (I posted a short a few weeks back) and plenty of weight on the rear, the front pops up nicely 😎
@@lightweightadv thanks, need to experiment getting dome weight on the rear...no luggage setup as yet, that would help😎
dome? 🤔... some!
Mark why you chose Michelin Tracker for this long trip ?
They're a great all rounder. I need a good tyre for the trails, but one that can last on the road too
