Speed running while speed running the game, beautiful. Yes, I was there during the whole livestream, can confirm we were all freaking out when the treadmill shocked Cj and worrying he would bonk irl Props to Cj for his dedication, he finally got the shower and rest he needed.
@@thomashindle2230 I think it was the friction on his feet, because when Cj was walking slowly it would shock him a little. But once he started running, it didn't do that anymore. The treadmill was also like a squeaky toy at times too lol

The problem is, if you turn stuff like that into an actual speedrun, it will just change from "If X happens, do Y" to "If X happens reset the run". Because whatever punishment you get will most likely stop you from getting a good time anyway
I played SMO almost straight through a train ride from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, so a few hundred miles. (ON FOOT this is probably true, though. Unless someone played consistently while walking to class/work. More miles over more time.)

A 7 minute mile? WHILE PLAYING( well speedrunning.. pun intended) ODDYSEY? Someone get this man an award. I couldn't run a 7 minute mile without playing oddysey and this man did it like it was nothing

to be fair it was at the end when he was running at 8mph and he did take a couple breaks, which usually isn't allowed at track meets.
