I really miss having a headphone jack on my iPhone. And if you’re like me you still like being able to simply plug in to listen to music and podcasts. And with the Kimwood Lightning to 3.5mm cable you can do just that!
This is a 3 foot auxiliary cable for iPhone 7 and later. This stereo cable is braided and feels really sturdy. Connecting an iPhone to a car stereo is simple. Just plug into the Lightning port on the bottom and plug the other to the aux input for the car stereo. In the Chrysler Pacifica shown in the video, the phone is immediately recognized and ready to use. Now any audio output from the phone is fed into the speakers in the vehicle. Now you can enjoy your tunes on your commute or where ever you drive!

Hello, this gives me hope. I have a 2011 Subaru Legacy and I also have a newer iPhone with Apple Music. I want to be able to listen to my music and podcast in my car. I do have an AUX button on my sound system which sounds great, but the AUX connection is at the bottom of the center "section" between the seats. Sorry, can't think of the name of the place everything goes between seats, lol! Anyway, any advice would be helpful. Thank you. Great videos and new subscriber! 👍🏼

My car doesn't have Bluetooth so this is helpful ty.
I have connected my iPhone 7 and it plays music… but when someone calls me, the ring tone is heard and then the sound is lost during the conversation… only the conversation is heard on the iPhone

This particular cable will not charge the iPhone when in use. It only sends an audio signal out to your car or home stereo. It’s basically a headphone cable with a Lightning plug on one end.
I thought it might seeing as it has to go into the charge port 😳
Yeah unfortunately 3.5mm audio ports don’t transmit power like on an actual USB port.

My phone won’t play phone calls through the speakers. Sooooo frustrating.
You'll probably need a BT to FM transmitter. Jabra makes some. Make sure it is compatible with recent OS releases as mine stopped working for hands free calls.

Haha! I had to use one of my own RUclips videos for the audio demonstration because I knew for sure that the music on that video isn't copyrighted! But I was definitely thinking of data usage when I played the video!
