I post transparent reviews and in some videos I advise what will be the best option (in my opinion). Segway team will hopefully see this and improve like Varla did with the new pro model and other e-bike companies. I cannot directly contact them and impose since they have their own engineers and a fully capable team to work and improve. Also they may release a new firmware update that can fix that or they already may have that in place. We will see...

it's funny how noone cares that you're walking around with a stolen scooter it really shows how useless this alarm it they should have a voice that says this vehicle is being stolen please return the vehicle on repeat as then people would notice now it's just a weak beep you can practically force roll it all the way back
Hello. Thanks for the reviews on this scooter. I'm looking for another ride at the moment. My first scooter was a Hiboy S2 Pro, which was always only going to last so long. Currently I have a Varla Pegasus. I've had it for under a year now and it has been a terrible experience. The thing just keeps falling apart and customer service has been less than stellar. My question about this Segway P100S is, How has the brakes held up? Does the regenerative brake work well enough? Also, Have you experienced any downfalls in the stem/handlebars, such as it being loose at the folding mechanism? Thanks for your time!! I appreciate it.

I have the same problem. The option to unlock speed is not on the app like you have. Im only getting max speed of 25kmh. Even if you sign out and sign in again, there is an option to change region on the top right before you sign in, and even if I change regions, im still stuck at 25kmh!! @@ElectricVehicleSpace Doesn’t matter which location you set in the app, it still will not unlock the speed! And emailing Segway will not get you anywhere because they will NOT tell you how to unlock the speed, or they will get into a lot of trouble. The only way is to 1, wait until ppl figure out a way to unlock speed as its a new scooter and will take time, or 2, sign into the USA apple app store and then download the segway app and try again, or 3, Use a vpn, and set your location to USA and then go into segway app and before you sign in, look at the top right and change location to America and then sign in while using usa Apple Store version of Segway, AND make sure vpn is on America. There is no other way around it until someone finds a custom firmware, which like I said will take time as this scooter only just came out! At least we know the scooter is capable of hitting 40km/h.

Hey scooter community 👋 I just purchased the Segway P100s 2 days ago, and it’s great, I’m just curious IS THERE a fast charger for this scooter? I also have the ninebot max g30 and I use a fast charger that charges in 3 hours which uses the smaller circular port on the side right next to the standard 3 prong port on the side of the scooter. This new P100s of mine doesn’t have that smaller circular port, just the 3 prong port, does anyone know of any fast chargers sold/ made for the Segway P100s scooter?

Hey dude, i ordered this P100se but its in the Netherlands...and offcourse here its 25km/h (still illegal to drive here because its a shitty country) so i think in the Netherlands the Segway has software that has a speed limiter till 25km/h? Or you think there comes an app like the Xiao flasher to unlock the topspeed?

It all depends on the payload, on your weight. Not expecting you to go into explicit detail here, but you can make a good assessment based on EVS' findings here in his review videos + Segway's own real-world numbers that I discussed with you in the other video. If you split the difference between ECO and Sport, you can expect ~40-50 miles under normal Drive Mode assuming you weigh approx. 165 pounds. Add some range if you weigh less and remove some range if you weigh more. 53 miles is likely only realistic in Drive Mode if you weigh under 150, the ambient temps are ideal, and you're mostly riding on flat ground and/or downhill.

Look at those picks and, if range is truly your #1 priority, get their pick. With that said, bear in mind what you're losing here. As of right now, the two best-overall scooters on the market are the Segway P-Series and GT-series, because the brand is unrivaled and the fit, finish, features, and performance are just the same. Many of the range beasts are very much making sacrifices in one of those metrics, you know? There's a reason that Segway is Segway and people swear by their quality just like people do by Apple and their products.

Assuming you mean to say "battery" when you say "charger," the vast majority of premium, luxury-brand, industrial designed PEVs don't have removable batteries. This is for very, very good reason. If you don't know the reason, I can explain. If you actually mean to say "external charger," no idea what you're talking about, since EVS and Segway both focus on the great selling point of a single, slim cable needed to charge the P series.
segway's anti-theft has always been a joke. I think their best _actual_ anti-theft mechanism is their sheer weight. Thieves will have to be jacked if they want a chance 😂
You absolutely don't need an app to ride a P-series. NFC unlock is possible via the pair of provided keys. The app merely allows for additional customization and functionality.
Why do you RUclipsrs continue to review and thus support a product with terrible customer support ? In all of the reviews no one discusses how dysfunctional their Chinese customer service is. There’s no one in America to properly support their product. I read tons of reviews from so called RUclipsrs. This prompted me to make up my informed decision to purchase their product. I compare this to the recent debacle of FTX and all the ensuing law suits against those celebrities who hawked and supported the company because investors trusted them. Why do you guys do that ? Why don’t you inform the consumers at large of all of a company’s overall operations not unlike an investigative reporter for an international news organization ? Think about my comment intelligently. Very unsatisfied American consumer.
This scooter performed well in the review and still runs well now. If I had any issue I would make a follow up video and address the problems but nothing so far and any time I reach out to the brand they respond.

You need to get from HD longer screws. I converted to Peak Design which is a better product. I recommend you get their moto mount. So much better.

How do you engage cruise control? Do you just push the button at the desired speed and it sets, or is there still a waiting game?
Activate in the app and it will engage after continuous 7 to 10 sec or so....I forgot the time frame.

The advertised range is 100 KM. You don't even seem to get a 30 mile (45 KM) range out of the scooter. Could you elaborate on that?
I rode in max speed and see my details in the video. That range is achievable in lower speed and 165lbs rider.

Assuming you mean to say "battery" when you say "charger," the vast majority of premium, luxury-brand, industrial designed PEVs don't have removable batteries. This is for very, very good reason. If you don't know the reason, I can explain.
If you actually mean to say "external charger," no idea what you're talking about, since EVS and Segway both focus on the great selling point of a single, slim cable needed to charge the P series.
segway's anti-theft has always been a joke. I think their best _actual_ anti-theft mechanism is their sheer weight. Thieves will have to be jacked if they want a chance 😂

You absolutely don't need an app to ride a P-series. NFC unlock is possible via the pair of provided keys. The app merely allows for additional customization and functionality.
Yes you don't need to install the app. Rides super nice without it.

Why do you RUclipsrs continue to review and thus support a product with terrible customer support ?
In all of the reviews no one discusses how dysfunctional their Chinese customer service is. There’s no one in America to properly support their product.
I read tons of reviews from so called RUclipsrs. This prompted me to make up my informed decision to purchase their product.
I compare this to the recent debacle of FTX and all the ensuing law suits against those celebrities who hawked and supported the company because investors trusted them.
Why do you guys do that ? Why don’t you inform the consumers at large of all of a company’s overall operations not unlike an investigative reporter for an international news organization ?

This scooter performed well in the review and still runs well now. If I had any issue I would make a follow up video and address the problems but nothing so far and any time I reach out to the brand they respond.
