I am very much enjoying this Let's Play so far. I probably wont buy the game for several months due to a lot of the reviews on steam saying it is poorly optimized among other things. I'll pick it up if they fix those issues. I enjoyed the first game a lot, so I hope this one continues the legacy. Also, I appreciate you continuing story lines from characters of previous Let's Plays. Do you play Dungeons and Dragons? I do, and I often base my video game characters and their choices off of D&D characters/npcs that I made.
They have some real performance issues to get through and I'll be very curious to see how they handle them, seeing as a lot of it appears to be because of the living, breathing world they created.

I would say it's a combination, now that you mention it. The massive world and freedom to explore and adventure of Skyrim with something new around every corner, but a much deeper combat system.

Am I blind but it says only dragon dogma on title screen not 2. I am excited to see this but disappointed of only one save file. Let's hope the menu system is improved.
I already want Episode 2!! XD Funny side note: there is a Rook pawn somewhere in the Rift. I haven't came across them yet myself, but I have seen him in a person's game. Also, I am looking forward to playing the game myself. As of writing this, my PS5 copy will be ready Saturday since I'm out of town, but I'm looking forward to taking Silvarius on a journey with my Arisen.

It's been awhile as i haven't gotten a chance to hang out in your stream or discord but i hope you're doing ok 🙂I am actually also intrigued of dragon's dogma since i remember you mentioning it a lot on your Dark souls' everything possible series. However i am concerned if my pc can still run it as my specs are about to be outdated sadly 😢I know my 1080 GPU and 16 GB RAM still holds up but i'm more worried about my CPU which is an i7 4770k. While it is powerful for a 4th gen CPU and it has run some 2022-2023ish triple a games decently even at mid to high settings I get the feeling that it's already on it's last legs as it's already even below dragon's dogma 2's min CPU requirement of Intel Core i5 10600 / AMD Ryzen 5 3600.😭
This game is asking for some pretty impressive specs. I'm playing on PS5 so I can't really speak to the optimization. Digital Foundry should have a good technical video out soon if they don't already!

@@BlueLizardJello I never said it bothered me. I personally just don't understand it. If role-playing as a female is what floats your boat, that's cool. To each their own. I've just never felt like pretending to be a lady, which is why I guess I don't understand it.

@thenugwhisperer For me, it really has nothing to do with the sex of the character. It's all about me playing as a character unlike me. I never roleplay as myself, although I do use my own sense of right and wrong, morality, and logic. The character is just a vessel and I enjoy when that vessel is very much unlike me. My other go to character is an old man :)
Emglish voice actomg just sucks in this game. They make the people having totally different personalities compared to Japanese. In English Rook is ordering you around while in Japanese he is very friendly and polite and suggesting things instead of ordering. Also overseer is very commandingand angry in Japanese while in this he seems like whiny nobleman.

I think your character's mouth looks good, the ugliness that you see makes her look more like a real person to me, not hollywood fake. Have you seen Charlize Theron in the movie "Monster"? She looks more real there than in any airbrushed image of perfection we might have seen of her before. Or look at the people in the flick "The Thin Red Line" --- the director was keen on getting background actors who looked real, not those groomed for hollywood.
